In 1995 I met a great friend Joe and his wife Kim. Joe was my age 43 and became our catcher on my softball team he never missed a game. He was the type of person that would drop anything in a second to help someone out you could always rely on him. He loved to throw parties at his house from 1995-2003 it was a ritual to go to his house for the super bowl. He loved to cook and always had great food. He made sure to have the bone from the meat wrapped up and give it to me for my dog every year. His favorite time of the year was halloween which meant a regular party at his house. In 2003 Joe got a brain tumor and was doing real good and seemed in remission until 2005. He had his annual halloween party that night. He had 2 giant pumpkins on his porch with candles lighting them up. His wife said before he went to bed he went to blow out the candles and when he did he yelled in excitement Kim there is an angel above this pumpkin. She brushed it off as Joe being tipsy and told him to get a picture of it. Joe went to bed and never woke up. When Kim developed the picture you can see an angel hovering over the pumpkin. The picture was at his funeral for everyone to see.RIP Joe.

Good Stuff Shleprock! Sounded like a great guy. Funny how certain events or even songs evoke memories of friends and family that have passed. Good to have those memories!

i would, my mom died of skin cancer over 10 years ago, she kept referring to the pretty lady in white over in the corner...she died about 12 hours later...who knows, but I don't disregard supernatural or spiritual beings, very cool story
