Any of you guys watching the Laker game?

Any of you guys watching the Laker game?

Why is Miami kicking their ass? Any opinions on a second half play? I'm thinking Lakers and over may work like Sac and over last night.

LAKERS -11 - 3 Units... pass on total

LA will come back and win this one... HEAT are known to falter later and especially after hitting 55% from the field in FH. Look for LA to clamp down on DEF, but with the total at 91, I can't go UNDER, but I doubt if MIA gets 40 in 2H of this one.... LAKERS may run run run though, so pass on total. LOVE LAKERS though... ;)

Lakers/Heat 2nd Half

Lakers/Heat 2nd Half

I can see the flurry of second half players on the lakers already as many will see a laker rebound after the heat put up about 55% shooting in the first half, however I think that is the wrong way to go for many reasons.

1) The Heat is dominating in the paint on both sides of the floor on offensive they are getting more offensive boards leading to extra shots at the basket. Zo Vs. Madsen? I don't think so you have to guard Zo with a center and the lakers simply have no one without Shaq. Zo will also be able to rest with such a large lead, and will be rested and ready to go if and when the lakers make a run.

2) Defense: The lakers are playing none, and I look for it to get worse in the second half as they will be launching and trying to run to play catch up. The reason the heat shot so well in the first half is because they were getting lay ups and dunks. On more than one occasion the heat had a uncontested layup.

3) Offense, the lakers look afraid to drive the lane especially when Zo is in there and no one has stood up to make a showing when Kobe is taking a breather.

4) Heat Basketball: Is all about defense and controlling the pace something they will be able to do with such a large lead. Think they may let up with such a large lead? I doubt it this could be the biggest win of the season and ex-lakers Jones and Riley would love nothing more than to beat the defending champs on thier home floor. Heat basketball will be a slow down pace making the Under an attractive proposition as well.

One Unit Selection:
UNDER 91 Mia/LA

Two Unit Selection:
Over 97 Cle/GS

Three Unit Selection:
Heat +11

Im already on miami +10 for the game so ill sit tight, and yes miami should win this game, however, watching the way they blow 2nd half leads 12 pts in nothing. They blew a 17 pt lead at home to portland of late, and la even vs better teams without shaq has come back, see philly game. I thought miami could and should win this game but i think the line is about right. Good luck everyone...
