RED EYES

I need to go to the eye dr. sometime. My eyes are constantly tired. I've been using eyedrops daily for a long time, they don't help. Don't get proper sleep. I see fine except when reading up close. I use reading glasses.
Is there anything I can do to get WHITE eyes again? Thanks for any replies, Hooks

Seriously, if it's Dry Eye, try Systane or similar drops. They'll take the itch out for awhile.

If it's chronic, maybe a prescription from a doctor is needed.

It's a combo of beer, Crappy sleep, Pain meds, up at 4:30 am , etc. :shrug:

for starters, get the contact lens multi purpose cleaner like "ReNu" and use that instead of Murine or Visine. it will help break you of the habit. those regular eye drops just dry your eyes out.

yeah, i wear contacts 24/7/52. i never take them out unless i change them, maybe about once in 8 months (they do not recommend this but i have been doing it for 5 years - NO problems).

if i use the visine, forget it, i have to use it every hour or so because my eyes get dry. even visine for contacts. these other solutions i just use maybe once or twice a day after a nap or when i wake up in the morning or if it's windy when i'm outside. it doesn't make my eyes dry out.

you might have a period of time at first because you're addicted to the other drops.

nasal sprays work the same way if you don't use them regularly, your nose will get completely stopped up. the bastids make them that way to hook us so they can sell more.

You have any solutions for coffee? this is the one habit i just can't break. Three days last week of no Jo and i felt awful. 1 day back and i feel like a new man again.

once played a round of golf with a guy who hit the Afrin nasal spray every other hole! :scared He said he was addicted to it (obviously). It does say on the bottle every 12 hours. Take it more, an you're screwed!

For your eyes, it sounds like you just need to change your habits a little to correct that problem. :shrug: beer, pain meds, not sleeping... Those pain meds are rough chit! I'm not sure what you ailment is, but really, how much do the meds help? I'd rather hurt (which I do) than be hooked on Lortabs that really don't help in the first place.
