Anybody watch that game?

Reds down 1 bottom of the 9th with men on 1st and 3rd with no out.

Fly ball to left the runner on 3rd doesn't try to tag up and score. THEN, they let the pitcher bat who has a total of 5 MLB at bats and went 0-5. Guess what? He struck out. Next guy walks but ball 4 was a passed ball and the runner on 3rd did not try to score. Next batter ground out, end of game.

WTF went on there?

Yeah, the last inning.

Still doesn't explain the shit base running. What's the 3rd base coach doing?

How do you run out of position players? No wonder that team sucks.

it was Votto on third, so not exactly Benny the Jet

The passed ball got like 4 feet away to right of catcher, and i'd venture prolly -NO ONE- unless was racing all out before pitch, would score on that one.

What about Cubs/Madden? Bot 7, 1 run game 1st and 3rd none out, and have Javier Baez bunt? Its Andrew Miller i get it, and a great bunt might score Rizzo, even a double play ball has chance to score one there, no?

And have chance at sac fly too. Granted Miller (could) K baez then is one grounder away from out of inning.

That Reds gameI had over 9.5. I still don't believe it. That came right after the LAA -Tor game that ended 5-4 with bottom 9th runners on 1st ang 3rd no outs. Fly to right gunned the guy down with what they say was the throw of the season. That game ended 5-4 too. Google that throw. I was sick. Back to back moose jobs

Votto

Votto

The real problem was that Votto had a bum ankle, and he actually did not start today . The fly ball to left field he had no excuse because Dickerson does not have that data arm and it was fairly deep and if you watched his throw it was up the first baseline he would?ve scored easily . But with no wow it?s third-base coach decided not to send him because of his ankle and that?s the real reason how it happened. And not having any position players left is pretty sad . I bet the pirate so I felt very fortunate
