George W really kicked it with that -413 trillion deficit.
He must have really been spending big on a false war somewhere with wmd's
NOW all of a sudden, we have to quit spending NOW! :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
Let's see a current chart. U might opt to remove a couple of those smilies![]()
I'm having beers. Wait till Obama's 2nd term, it'll be looking like Clinton's :toast:
I can think of several people I'd much rather see in office in 2012 but none have a chance, so who do you see winning in 2012 if not Obama? :shrug:I hope you are right, but I am not seeing a 2nd term at this point:0corn

Ron Paul's certainly on my short list as well but we all know the Republicans will never nominate him. I agree there's plenty of time for a strong Republican candidate to emerge but at this point, I'm having a hard time imagining who could realistically beat Obama.I was just messing with Jack. I would think obama has to be the fav at this point due to lack of viable candidates on the other side. There is time for a strong opposing candidate to develop, but I have a hard time thinking any of the current possibilities would overtake o. I would like Ron Paul, but we all know there is no chance there.
 :sadwave:

As long as Republicans put up a reasonable candidate
In spite of what Dogs routinely claims, it wasn't the black vote that got Obama elected. Black voters predominantly vote Democrat anyway. It was the Hispanic vote and IMO, more importantly, it was YOUNG voters that came out to vote for Obama. And ironically, that is what could make him vulnerable in 2012. Young voters need a cause and they often come out to issue protest votes against the status quo. I don't see young voters coming out in the same numbers in 2012 to vote for an incumbent President. :sadwave:

As long as Republicans put up a reasonable candidate Obama has no chance to win,
I just really find it comical who are asking for the spending to stop now, all of a sudden.
I hope you are right, but I am not seeing a 2nd term at this point:0corn
