MADJACKS has changed my daily routine and impacted my way of thinking, and posting my plays here has been an ideal governor on my gambling impulses, so you could practically say it's changed my life. And hanging out at Madjacks provides one of the advantages that I also gain from living in the Midwest - here, I'm part of the thin crowd.

This place beats everything, you know that. As a rule, information and opinions on handicapping and sports, as well as politics and events of the day, are contributed with passion and pride and received with respect; the interesting exceptions to the rule usually end well, too. Madjacks works for me as a thriving and connected international community of internet friends and neighbors. We make Jack's job something to enjoy, I think.

hard to figure this guy. he makes some nice compliments and some complaints that don't really make alot of sense. a picture of a cute girl on jack's free picks page isn't "classless". if it was a mojo pic or something ok maybe but to me those 2 pics are hardly classless. and why he takes a shot at gman is a surprise as he has always contributed good info, analysis, and picks from what I have seen. some of those complaints make him sound like an ex-member who was booted off the site trying to take some unnecessary shots at a few people.

It would have been nice if this bozo had done his homework before writing this drivel. He really has no consistant thesis statement to work from and appears to just make things up as he goes. It is obvious that this pseudo critic doesn't know enough about MJ's to begin with and fills his page with references to topics that have no relation to a review. God help him if he finds this site difficult to navigate. It would also have shown some professionalism by knowing Jack's name. That alone is grounds for dismissing this infantile nonsense. How much credibility can you give this guy when he doesn't know Jack's name and he is apparently obsessed with the body fat of the average MJ poster? His idiotic suggestion that Jack may pay people to post is even more absurd. It is clear that this simpleton has a major case of "MJ Envy."

I remember hearing a couple years ago that MJ was planning to add a feature to the site to compete with contest sites like BigGuy and *********. In fact, they had a beta version up and running on the site for a while. For whatever reason, that project crashed and burned.

After you sort through all the "spin" the only really relevant factor in article was his 1st paragraph.

His main points:

1) posters here are fat

Fine. But really, can you take a review seriously where this is what he starts with and harps on repeatedly.

2) The non-forum content is amateurish and mediocre.

This is obvioiusly completely wrong. Nick and Nolan and clearly two of the best writers out there that happen to put some of their efforts into sports wagering also. I've read some of these regular columns at other sites and they're pretty much completely uninformed shit. As part of MJ's community will these guys, and Jack, put up pictures of themselves and family. This is really a criticism???

3) Most of the other links on the menu, like the ?Consensus?, ?Contests?, ?Scoreboard?, ?Database?, ?Handicappers?, ?Contests?, and so on, are just links to other sites...it reminds me of the college kid who makes a outline for a term paper, looks at all the blank spaces, and then says ?it would be a heckuva lot easier to just copy something?.

Hello, moron. This is the INTERNET. The concept of having a "link" to other sites who have already produced what you want to do might be lost on you, but most of us get it.

Besides, if he had any knowledge of this place he'd understand that the prominent "consensus" link is by people associated with MJ's so that the notion of "letting someone else do the work" is just wrong.

Now that is ugly! And not to mention, they are all dressed funny too! I mean Hey the Seventies called and they want their damn clothes back! I would not recomend that you go over there at all! 1 Star out of 5 stars! They are just too damn ugly and funny looking!
