It might have been creative but the majority of us in this forum knew that it was wrong and totally fawked up.

Why did it take so long for our legal system of justice to figure it out.

Why did so many get ripped off by them.

Because to fight them would have cost tens of thousands of dollars. Jury trial, out of state, local lawyer, Vegas lawyer, depositions, flights, hotel rooms. It was so much easier to settle. Cheaper too.

that`s why is mentioned the class action route...the lawyer takes his end off the settlement and the rest is divvied up.....

i`m no lawyer,but i think the damages have to meet a certain criteria(i could be wrong) and i`m not sure righthaven ripped that much off....

it`s a damned shame what they did...any self respecting mirror those f-cking bastards look into would shatter...

While we had several irons in the fire the biggest was win on fair use--hopefully it sets a precedent so others on posting forums won't have to go through this in future.
