This is Vegas 2012
Kids waiting in line at 7;00am to go to a pool party. Shit that's when I get I'm from shooting craps

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVQX0RG8pec

A new generation is moving in, give the kids a break and let them have fun. Your/our fun was different than theirs but they are spending the money now so let them roll or join the fun.

You can go down town to experience the old days if that's what you want. Run down, musty, and a bunch of fat women playing the slots.

There's something for everybody in Vegas, baby :0008

Don't think there are enough well healed youngsters that play craps, slots, high stakes poker, baccarat etc to keep those monolithic casinos running at a good profit.

$1000 a day pool cabanas and $10.00 Long Island teas at the "Clubs" are peanuts when you have a nut as big as the MGM group current debt.

I predict some MAJOR cash crunches in the very near future....

The Station group of 18 properties just emerged from a "restructuring" and will be the target of a culinary union action come June....

Vegas, IMHO, has become kind of semi- "irrelevant" in todays social climate; a memory of good times of another era...

My man! It sucks when we all get too old and start resenting the younger generation. I still find my niche in Vegas even though I hate expensive clubs where you spend $300 for a bottle. But there is nothing better than being in a sportsbook on a Saturday afternoon with 5G spread out over 20 games. I'll be there 4-5 times this year and not come home bitching about bums on the street corner. BTW, how is that Vegas's fault?

So. Cal
From the circus circus to the Wynn . It's all vacant land . The construction has stopped.
A lot of Asians have left Vegas 4 the Macau which is far superior to Vegas

As far as real gamblers. We used to hang out at the sands, stardust desert inn & flamengo not this new fancy shit like the encore, wynn & Bellagio . Shit id rather go 2 the Atlantis in the Bahamas

you sound like shelly from the cooler

Las Vegas is what it is: the most desirable destination for the gambler: and yes it has a dark side.

if you are discerning, and don't get suck into the 'traps' it is still the best place on earth for the serious gambler to actually settled down and make a living betting sports. It can be done.! and there are still many quiet, safe, enjoyable sportsbooks and areas to frequent to have all the fun in the world.:0074 and i am not referring to the sportsbooks on the strip..:SIB

vegas will always be vegas.

Peeps from the east coast, including me, live less than 4 hours away from AC, but still go to vegas a couple times a year.
Love it

I'm loving all the feedback

I'm just giving my personal experience . A lot has changed in 8 years and I'm not happy about it. If u still enjoy Vegas that's great . I'm just saying that I don't like the new Vegas. It's even hard to get one full table on craps going. U have a bunch of kids betting $20 losing & leaving. I like to play craps & it's real hard to find a good game with players who know what the fuck fever 5 , center field nine , Ect . These kids can't even keep the dice on the table. All I heard was 7 out new shooter.

Finally there r a ton of vacant areas. From circus to the treasure island it's all just vacant land. I walked off the monorail at LVH on Rivera blvd to LVB and it was very scary.

Just my thoughts . I think Dead Money knows what I'm talking about.

If u enjoy vegas good for you

Finally just broke my sin city cherry!

Finally just broke my sin city cherry!

I am at airport waiting to take red eye back home to PA. I won about 2 dimes through the week betting baseball and basketball. Gave it all back and then some playing blackjack and 3 card! Lost about 3 dimes til all said and Done. And gained 5-10LBs. Stayed at Palazzo and of course I loved the sportsbook. Beautiful suite and me and Mrs. had a great first trip to sin city. Seen some shows and even rented car and drove to valley of fire one day. I know one thing for sure.....Atlantic City might be 3 hour drivefrom our home, but I will NEVER spend another cent there!! Some things did seem expensive. But Disney World costs are high too! And Mickey don't give you a shot at hitting a progressive jackpot!!

I hate that gaining weight factor. It happens to me every time. Could be the 5-7 cocktails I have every day along with the two great bottles of Red. "You gotta love this town."

If it wasn't for the young crowd, vegas would be bankrupt right now. With that said, the big spenders will be back with the economy and there is no question who vegas will accommodate to first.

I think Vegas was really flat-lining in 2008 when a large amount of States were considering legalizing gambling for additional revenue. That would have killed the crowd.

i've never been to Vegas because of fear of flying and now due to illness cannot fly.

Yeah yeah i know the old vegas days are gone but it aint going anywhere.

I have a friend Bill who lived and worked in Vegas for years.

HE told head boss at AC casino you know what the problem is here as opposed to Vegas?

HE said What problem?

The way you treat YOUR Customers is pathetic!

Vegas is the same way now. They don't give two squirts about the gambler anymore.
