Tide is pumped, I have seen some recent twitter posts from him about it.

Last I saw he was looking to see if anyone in the area had a charter bus to go see Kyle pitch this weekend :toast:

Sorry for delay. Just got back in town from 10 day Honeymoon. :toast:

Got a text message from Gibby late Sunday afternoon then everyone starting calling me, messaging, etc.

I'm going to do everything I can to go see him pitch on Saturday. Looks to be about a 10 hour drive to Minneapolis. I've made a few phone calls to get prices for a charter bus because there are a few dozen friends that want to go but don't want to drive 20 hours round trip in 2 days.

Gibby is super excited as expected. The Twins flew him to Miami yesterday morning to join up with the team.

If I go I will definitely post pictures.

Kyle Gibson held the Royals to two runs over six innings Saturday in the Twins' 6-2 victory.

Advice: It was the 25-year-old right-hander's major league debut and he looked solid, pumping mid-90s fastballs with good command. Gibson yielded eight hits but he did not issue a walk and he struck out five Kansas City batters. He'll get a tough test next week when he faces the Yankees but Gibson looks like a worthy mixed fantasy league starter.

Wish I had been able to go but just couldn't pull it off. Flat broke after wedding and honeymoon and 20 hours round trip was just too much.

Had a viewing party at local bar with about 30 friends and it was awesome. Was great to see Gibby get the win. Very proud of him and can't wait to see his next start. If rotation holds he is slated to pitch his next two games against the Yankees (Thursday at home and Sunday, July 14 at NY).

Hope to see him pitch against the White Sox and Indians in August.
