Watching Mizzou/Nwestern overtime...

If a team is down 7 points in overtime and the ball is fumbled/intercepted and returned to the opposite end zone does the touchdown count? If so, do they kick the extra point?

6 points good......extra point not kicked.

Max any team can win by in overtime is 14 points.....can be up by 8.....return fumble or intercept for another 6 points.

that is correct - td counts no xp


this rule was actually changed after a asu game a few years back when jake plummer was qb - asu was perfect ats late in the season if i remember correctly - went to ot in a game where they were laying 13.5 points - scored, def td, xp, cover

Been there........Had a Pac 10 game in the Mid to late 90's, dog getting 12-12.5 points. Game goes into to OT, marked it down as a "W", TD, then TO, lost by 13.........

Just one of my "Bad Beat" stories. Anyone wanna talk online poker?
