First Off, let me say that the source I'm hearing this from has given me info many times. He's usually a 50/50 guy, but 90% of the time, if he is wrong, I find out later through media that there was some serious truth to his original information, it just didn't pan out.

So, with that being said, here ya go.

He called me as I was watching the Rivers debacle unfold about a half hour ago or so. He informed me that an event took place in the Jets Locker Room after the game where Sanchez apparently took up for Tebow and had some choice words directed at Sporano. He said it involved the fact that they've stuck with the starter all year long and that putting in McElroy was a spit in the face to Tebow.

Word is that Rex told Sanchez to shut his mouth and that's when Sanchez said something to the effect of..."I'll be here next year, you two won't and wherever Tim decides to go, he'll do exactly what he does everywhere he goes and make you look like the fools you've proven to be all season"

He then told me that Bart Scott and Joe McKnight were able to get everyone away from each other and some peace was restored.

Again, not sure if this is 100% accurate or not, but if this is how that Locker Room is after a win, I'd love to be a fly on the wall if they lose next week.

Tebow was inactive for the game healing from a rib injury.

I don't know what took Rex so long to give McElroy a shot at playing. Neither Sanchez or Tebow have done anything special all year. The Jets season is a loss, so why not put McElroy in? It wasn't disrespectful to either Sanchez or Tebow at all.

Isn't Tebow hurt? That's what the announcers were saying during the game.

2 broken ribs was the report..

doesn't matter what the Jets do..

they tried to build a Defense lead franchise when the whole league was being transformed into a 40 passes a game score 31 a game entertainment.

a day late and a dollar short for eons and it doesn't change..

didn't take a talent scout to see that this teamed lacked elite O players from the very draft of Sanchez and into the folly that is Jets football..

Yes Tim was inactive. Sanchez was referring to the fact that when Tims been healthy, they've constantly said, Mark is our guy. But now that Tim was inactive, they finally pulled the trigger and put GM in. Pretty much a slap in the face to Tebow, a guy who I've heard has the respect of 50 out of 55 guys in that locker room.

doesn't matter what Tebow commands in the locker room..

he is worse than Sanchez and they both are ill equiped to be a starting QB in the NFL..

especialy Tebow who possess nothing near the passing skills to be a starter or backup in the NFL..

at this stage of development the Browns are closer to improving than the Jets..

what does that say about the heads of state in the Jets Org.

they don't have a friggin' clue.

Nor should he have been given the chance to start. He's terrible.

If you want wins then Tebow is your man, if your into stats then he is not. Difference between he and Sanchez is that Tebow can complete 40% of his passes and get you a win, Sanchez gives you no chance to win and Ryan has been blowing him all season and deserves to lose his job. Bottom line, Tebow is a winner and Sanchez never has been anything without a great defense of which NYJ have lacked the last 2 seasons.

I'm sorry, but anyone who says that Tebow can't be a starting QB in the NFL has no knowledgeof football IMO. Tim Tebow is not an A or A+ pocket passer. He's more like a C pocket passer. He's not an A or A+ roll out QB. He's more like a C+ roll out guy. But he's an A running QB, he's an A+ effort QB. He's also an A+ do what the coach says to do QB. He's an A+ motivator and an A+ no quit QB.

If you find a coach who acknowledges all of these things, and therefore structures the Playcalling based on Tebow's attributes....Tim Tebow can lead a team to a Super Bowl.

And for anyone that doubts that, check his past.

I seem to remember them telling Doug Flutie, Kurt Warner and many others that they weren't NFL caliber players as well.

You're nuts. At the end of the day, season or career ask any QB does he care about his STATS or RINGS.
Tebow is a proven winner. :0008
