First Off, let me say that the source I'm hearing this from has given me info many times. He's usually a 50/50 guy, but 90% of the time, if he is wrong, I find out later through media that there was some serious truth to his original information, it just didn't pan out.
So, with that being said, here ya go.
He called me as I was watching the Rivers debacle unfold about a half hour ago or so. He informed me that an event took place in the Jets Locker Room after the game where Sanchez apparently took up for Tebow and had some choice words directed at Sporano. He said it involved the fact that they've stuck with the starter all year long and that putting in McElroy was a spit in the face to Tebow.
Word is that Rex told Sanchez to shut his mouth and that's when Sanchez said something to the effect of..."I'll be here next year, you two won't and wherever Tim decides to go, he'll do exactly what he does everywhere he goes and make you look like the fools you've proven to be all season"
He then told me that Bart Scott and Joe McKnight were able to get everyone away from each other and some peace was restored.
Again, not sure if this is 100% accurate or not, but if this is how that Locker Room is after a win, I'd love to be a fly on the wall if they lose next week.
