I want to like her, but when she speaks she seems to use amazingly general statements that are impressive even for a politician.
Granted most politicians are pretty vapid... but if you honestly wrote down what she said and read it back to yourself, I am not sure how you could keep a straight face.
Nothing to do with the merits of her policies one way or the other, she just seems to talk a lot but say nothing.
you`re describing obama,imf.....he speaks in large generalities without saying anything substantive...
he can`t be pinned down on anything...
it isn`t as much "what" palin says as much as "how" she says it...
the "you betcha`s" and "clobbered"(sounds like "clawburd")...she was governor of alaska and wasn`t up to snuff on world issues...that`s mccain`s fault(my friendsh)........she sounds like a podunk, regardless of the fact that she`s accomplished in her field and actually smacked the republicans in her own state silly......
but she`s not ready to be be president...obama isn`t either, based on his resume...or what we know of it...
people aren`t ready for plain folks to lead the country...we like people that went to ivy league universities or people that come from rich families....
we like to be bullshitted... we like folks that hide their college resumes....their medical records...
we like to put blind faith in ciphers(blank slate) because they`re slick and talk a good game..they can say anything and people buy it(i won`t have to pay my mortgage/my car/my credit card debt/my health insurance premiums)...
they morph into whatever they need to get elected...
we`re easy...the last generation or so has a history of electing assholes...
