Yeah, couldn't resist, well almost.

Really liked the results and prices on Friday even though I didn't play a thing; place sure looks interesting alright. Being a Philly regular, I feel like I'm playing Breeder Cup hosses with Breeders Cup potential payoffs. And, FOSHO, I got a better chance here that at ANY real Breeders Cup race (those races between clones is a joke, AND I got fooled too many times playing them things too).

Really tough to ignore the payoff potential with the big fields at 'toga too.

Talked myself into actually playing someting there today because I do have more experience with N.Y. racing, FAR MORE, than any other track. Don't have that much experience with 'toga, but, if I rememeber correctly, I think it plays more like Aqueduct (oh yeeah) than Belmont.

ONLY PLAYING, FOR REAL, the 4th and the 6th race. But I am posting horses I like (capping wise) in the other playable races just to see how I woulda done and just in case somebody here is interested. Might be a good idea to play the races I got picks in that I"M NOT playing for real the way my luck has been going. :mj16:

(the nos. I have here ARE program nos.)

1st race
no. 1 top/bot with 4,5,6,10 and small win/place backup on no. 8. Think the no. 8 will go off higher than it's morning line and could pay for the zactas if they don't hit.

2nd race
I came up with the nos. 3 and 5. Not confident about this race at all. Still, those two came up pretty good on my figures.

4th race
For real (backed up with good ole American greenbacks that are becomming more and more worthless anyways) - 1,5 top/bot with 4,11. Also, nos. 1,5 Win/Place, and not that light either; I really like those two in here. They're 10-1 and 8-1 respectively. Don't believe I'll see those odds on them two at post time, but anything close looks like value to me and plenty enough to be able to playem both. If that no. 11 scratches - that just means more on the 1 and 5 play.

5th race
Just like ONE stinkin horse in this race (can ya believe that?) ... .. no. 3. If this one looks good in the prerace I just might play it - WIN, only. Reasons to play this one is breeding, good speed in last race, and an excellent work for this race and especially the odds considering all the experience this one has that the "wannabes" in this race don't have. Reason NOT to play this one - Lukas (he sure ain't what he used to be) and Nakatani whose not one of my favorites at all. Oh, one more good/important factor is -> good post position too.

6th race
LIKE that no. 6 hoss. Zactas 6, top/bot with 1,3,.9.10. If I'm ahead I'll back this one Win/Place/Show@3x

9th race
No. 7 hoss.

That's it. That wussie Philly track is, so far, the only N.E. track that is cancelling it's SATURDAY card on account of heat. Temp. is supposed to be about 10 degrees cooler on Sat than last couple of days too.

Surprise, surprise :scared

The two "Real plays" races were the profitable ones... YIKES! Gotta feel pretty good bout that :00hour (ya think I'd get banned from the NFL for excessive celebration IF I ever scored a touchdown? LOL)

Despite catching the exacta in the 6th (not so big though) it was those heavier Win/Place (Show) plays that paid off for the day. Thems make very good side bets with the nice double digit odds.

Hmmm.... now we got a "rate the thread" feature (or did we always have that and I just never noticed?) Hmm.. lets see :mj03: .... . . :mj03:... . ... . :mj03:.

Maybe "excellent" cause if somebody comes in here and has a keyboard.. thems might give it a 1 (terrible) rating and that would average out to be a 3 (average). Besides, that no. 5 (10-1) in the 4th race LOOKED like a winner within yds of the finish line. That one did a great job and just got nailed AND I coulda swore that there no. 6 hoss in the 6th race won that dang race. Hmmm... I'll give it a Good+ :)

NOW, I gotta decide if it's back to good ole Philly for Sunday or stick with the exciting, but riskier, Spa??

Chime in Viewers... if not I'll flip a coin later to decide or really grind it out and do both (ya know, try to find the best of both worlds). I know BOTH would be nice, but not for me though. I go over them real close like and that would take too long and my brain is fried enough with the heat turned up so high lately out there. Besides, I wouldn't have the time to post a thang.

BTW, that was a great start to this meet you got off to, Axle. Catching those double digit winners early on in Friday's card that good cappers figure out is what Saratoga is all about. There are plenty of tourists up that way and many don't know the difference between a jack wabbit and a hoss. Unlike casino action, wacin is about competing agianst the OTHER bettors, not the advantaged House. Of course, OTB and online (legal ones that directly feed the track pools) lessens that but it's still a factor. Nice job.

Enjoy the races wherever ya playing,Y'awl.
