Sat - Tues Parx racing

Happened in the past - when I start a new thread seems like nobody else does and it leads to the whole listing for this forum has ME on it. I'm going to use THIS thread/listing for about a month at a time for Parx Picks. Some days I'll post and some I won't. I'll put the day of the week for each new post in it.

Tuesday 12/31
Starting this one off with the first two playable races for today and I'll see if there is any interest later. If there is none, I'll prob. post how I did WIN or LOSE (I don't play games) after the races. That gives me more time to go over the races I play without having to rush.

2nd Race:
Exactas - 8 top/bot with 6,9, 11 and side Win bets on nos. 9 and 11

3rd Race:
Just exactas - 3,8 top/bot 1,5,6

2nd race wiener, 20/1 morning liner, paid $14.20.

I REALLY LIKED that 6 hoss in the 3rd and almost put $20 side bet on that; didn't do it.
We just cashed in with the catching the zacta, $23.40.

Winning EVERY race and the only bets I did get in was the 2nd and 3rd. Like missing that there $26 jobbie in the 6th. FLUCK!

Busy as all hell in this house today, with telephone calls (re; insurance) and other stuff.

On PC now so I can type and I'll see about catching the 8th or 9th... can't promise a thing.

for the place spot and gets 3rd. Terrible, picked soo many wieners and actually lost moola. Didn't play the no. 1 to win; just went with the exactas.

HOPE you interpreted my post better than I did for the 9th, Spud.

BTW Johnny, Spud, either of you could use some extra moola today?:mj07:

Parx is gonna run today (Jan 1st.). I think things may be quiet around the house today but that could change. I put PLENTY of time doing the calculations, analysis, and studying with picking hosses and I'm thinking about how much stuff I have to do besides hosses.

MAYBE I can just figure a couple of races out and see if you are around.
Here's one race that might help yas -

7th race:
Looks like it gonna be no. 5 or 1 that will be the keys. If exacta is the play.. include no. 4 and 7 in it.

That may be all I have foryas.

I got online just in time to catch that 5th race weiner; crazy wace - early betting had the favorites bet as longshots and the longshots bet as favorites :0023, at least IMO. I had the no. 8 tabbed as a cinch and it opened @ 10/1.

Well,they got their act together and my 8 hoss wins ($7.20) and what did I play - 8 top/bot 4,5,7,9. x07:

short story - after my 4 hr. operation in 2016 fighting colin cancer, which I beat, my Dr. told me that I can stop taking them. A miracle! Took them for over 20 yrs. I also forgot that I smoked and no urges to do so .... for 6 mos. too, that is.

Ok, Today:
9th race I bought a shitload of tickets (well over $30 worth - zactas, WIN, W/Pl.) I liked the 7 and 8 when I betem at good odds even though they went down to 3/1. I had those with FIVE others in zacktas. Not the no. 6 though.:hitwithro

HOWEVER .... .. . I was very impressed with whomever rode the wiener in the 8th, beating out Sanchez, checked it and it was Dexter Haddock, then I remembered we're playin Philly Park and his horse was the longest shot in the race, so, OF COURSE I wasn't gonna let that one get away and got me a $2 stinken dollar Win/Place tic. on no. 6. I;ll let the viewers check out the outcome of this, getting callouses on the finger tips. :} Here's a hint --> woulda been better if I just added the 6 to the zacktas.

There are two thangs that raise blood press,
1. Watchin them dang college BASKETBALL games that really tellya all you need to know and "enjoy" in the last 30 seconds or minute of then game. I'll go through that tonight. I don't know how the WHALES ($$$) can get through those games.

2. Betting horses (and NOT betting them) on days like today.

In a way, I'm glad Philly will take a breather for a couple of days.

Does these flunken things happen to other people?

I didn't like today's racing card at Parx and went through all the handicapping steps for these races -->1st, 3rd,6th and 7th and figured i'd get through the 8th and ninth today. Then on to the Ballers up till after well 3 am . I told Joanie Bird to just let me get up whenever I wake up today cause I wasn't confident about Parx today and I'd play what ever they're up to after breakfast.

Well, after breakfast I went to Parx and see the 3rd race was close to post time and I got my notebook and the plicks were 1,8 t/b 2,6 exactas and I put that in on the laptop. No need to check the results it was -1-8-4. No biggie.

Hmmm ... ...:00x33 let's see what happened in the 1st (bad idea) cause this is exactly what I had written down -> exactas 1,6 top/bot 2,4 and no. 6 to WIN on the side. I don't wanna see it again; you can check it out if interested, guests.

Think we should skip the 6th?

What the hell --> zactas 4,9 t/b 5,8 AND WIN side bets 1 and 3.
