Well after tonight, please feel free to fade away. Doesn't help when every single favorite covers and I took all underdogs.
Drexel @ Cleveland State - Dragons haven't lost since January 2nd while Cleveland State has lost 3 straight. The Colonial is really bad this year, but Drexel has still been dominating the conference and they still have a couple decent teams like VCU and George Mason. Old Dom is okay, but nothing special IMHO... kind of feel the same about GMU. Scary thing is Drexel doesn't have any real good wins this year, but I think they'll hang tough in this early morning game. Cleveland State just lost by 18 to Valpo at home. I think Drexel is primed to steal this game, but want the points for insurance.
Drexel +3.5 (-120) for 3.5*
Marquette @ UConn - When you have 2 of the top 5 projected players in the upcoming NBA draft on your team (Drummond & Lamb), you should at least be decent. However, after Calhoun leaves the team and you have been a huge disappointment the whole year, UConn is NOW fighting for their tourney lives... UConn has been tough at home and Marquette is notorious for slow starts in games (UConn 1st half would be a smart wager, but I'm not a 1st half guy in general) and Marquette's Gardner will likely be out tomorrow giving them one less big man to bang against a fairly big UConn club (Drummond goes 6-11 and about 275 anyway and Oriakhi isn't small). I think the Huskies will come ready and win a close game by about 5 to 7 points. Having Boatright healthy is huge for the Huskies and think they make a little run to end the season.
UConn -2 (-120) for 3.5*
Wichita State @ Davidson - The first thing I notice about Davidson is they play MUCH better at home than on the road. The 2nd thing I notice is Davidson has been 9-2 ATS at home and should have their best crowd of the year tomorrow. Tough to go against the Shockers as they're rolling and Stutz is starting to look like a 1st round pick IMHO (guy is 7 feet and plays like a small forward with his ball handling skills and perimeter shooting... a little muscle and he'll be a 1st round pick next year). Still, feel the Wildcats get the better of the Shockers in this game. Wichita State is put in a tough spot and laying points on the road... if this game was in Wichita, they win by double digits almost for certain, but on the road and traveling into a tough environment, like the points.
