Wish I felt as sure as you do. I loved the play at first but now I feel that Miami may be in for a rough time. Minn. has the 3rd or 4th best offense in the league. Hope Dolphs not looking ahead to the Pats game. Not down yet cause I need a push. G L On your bet Joe

2 things going against FISH....................
1. Let Down Factor after handing Raiders their butts...
2. Look Ahead Factor as New England LOOMS LARGE next week.
Sorry, but I HAVE TO GO AGAINST your Fish play !!!!
I really think this is a moneyline play on Minny as well. We should see a number of aerial plays as I see Minny going out and trying to "have some fun" and light up the Board, thus forcing the Fish to pass more often than they usually do,and Ricky WILL see the ball less than usual..
Good Luck guys ,let's ALL try and grab some Christmas CASH.......Spanky.......;)

Wow...

Wow...

25 Units... Now thats a hefty Bet  Gotta agree with Spanky.... The Dolphins can definitely win the game for sure but in my opinion there are a few other games on the board that seem a little safer.... But Hell, Thats what betting is all about...
Good Luck High Roller, I hope you pull it off...

25 units or dollars?

What percentage of your bankroll is your unit? Not over 4%, I hope.

Look ahead???? You must be joking

Look ahead???? You must be joking

I agree that there are a number of reasons why this game is dangerous for Miami but the idea that the Dolphins will be looking ahead to next week is, in my opinion, pretty ludicrous. If I thought that all the Dolphins were interested in was simply making the playoffs, then yes this game is pretty meaningless because if they beat New England next week they're definitely in. But no, the Dolphins have set their sights higher, with eyes on homefield advantage, or at least getting that important bye, and to get either they will need to win both remaining games. They know this. I think this weekend, especially in the AFC, you are already going to see a playoff atmosphere, with teams playing hurt and leaving it all out on the field.

Personally, I am not a Dolphins fan; I'm a Bears fan (sadly) and thus hate Wannstedt, but I think that this team is not getting nearly the respect it deserves. There has been no other team in the AFC that has been as consistently solid week in and week out this year (only really faltering when Fiedler was out, but that was understandable). I'm not saying I think they are the best team in the AFC (not saying they're not either :p ) but they certainly do have a tried and true winning combination of a solid D and a stud RB.

Just my 2 cents: think Miami -3 is a real steal (and I hate giving points on the road). Now, I don't know if it's worht 25 units . . .

GL just the same HR

Home games and road games are two different animals.......take
a look at Miami's road record vs Minny's home record.....this will
go down to the wire and I like being home +3........

HIGHROLLER????

PLEASE BE CAREFUL, DON'T BET WITH YOUR HEART!!!!!!!!

MINNY HAS NOTHING TO LOSE IN THIS GAME,
AS WE
LEARNED LAST WEEK WITH THE 2 PT CONVERSION?????
MINNY PLAYING WELL AS LATE, AND AT HOME HAVE BEEN SOLID.
MIAMI IN A MAJOR SANDWICH GAME BEATING MY RAIDERS, AND PLAYING PAT'S NEXT WEEK!!!
MIAMI ALSO DOESN'T PLAY AS GOOD ON ROAD.

MINNY WILL SCORE IN THIS GAME, AND MAY TAKE MIAMI OUT OF THEIR GAME-PLAN OF RUN RICKY RUN? IF THEY FALL BEHIDE THEY ARE IN TROUBLE!!

I LIKE MINN BIG TOMORROW, I ALREADY BET THE MONEY LINE?

I LOVE ALL 3 DOGS SATURDAY!!

MINNY ML 10 UNITS
ARIZ+ 3 1/2 5 UNITS
DALLAS +6 1/2 5 UNITS

DON'T BE SURPRIZED IF ALL 3 WIN OUT-RIGHT!!!

This game is a no play for me, being a Vikes fan. I see Minny enjoying their win last week and rolling over this week. There is nothing for the Vikes to play for. Miami doesn't figure into any mindset as far as NFC conference races go, no revenge factor. Miami is the more focused team right now, better D & more to play for. Anything under 4 points IMHO is a deal.

a few pointers

a few pointers

Miami dismantled the Oakland "D" through the air...It will be fun to watch what they do to a POOR Minnesota Pass "D"....

Miami will unleash RICKY on Minnesota's POOR RUN "D"....

If the run fails then CHAMBERS,McKNIGHT and CARTER will have a field day...

Minnesota has how many GREAT RECIEVERS ? Oh thats right we took one of them...Surtain & Madison on MOSS ! Sure Moss will get a few BIG catches but will not carry this team...

To say oh look what Minnesota did to New Orleans well look how POOR their "D" is and look what Miami's "D" did to RICE & BROWN.

MINNESOTA STINKS !

DOLPHINS BLOW OUT !

:thumb:

P.S. Anyone who does not believe this DOLPHINS team is for real this year will surely believe after a NATIONAL TV GAME tomorrow.

P.S. (2)

FIELDER IS 7-1 this year !

I was going to argue for Minn Highroller. But then I seen Nolan had a piece on it in the free pics. He makes alot of sense..

oh what to do what to do ?

COMMENTS: Minnesota should keep the score close and is certainly capable of pulling off the outright upset. The Vikings have played excellent football the last three weeks -- all against playoff-bound teams (Atlanta, Green Bay, and New Orleans). Vikings offense can outscore any team in the league. It appears that Minnesota remains motivated (to win) and now with pressure off and out of the playoffs, they are playing their best football of the season. Miami has certainly looked very strong in recent weeks, but could have a letdown here after playing a phenomenal game last week at home against Oakland. In fact, Miami is coming off two consecutive high-profile home games (an appearance on MNF, followed by the Oakland game) and now must somehow stay focused on a non-conference road opponent as a favorite. That's bad news. Dolphins defense has been exceptional when playing in Miami (only 13 PPG), but is very average on the road (23 PPG). Non-conference road favorites routinely have problems in this situation (recall Jets-Bears last week). There are also two angles pointing to a play on Minnesota here -- first, playing a team with a losing (SU) record versus a winning team late in the season, and second, playing against road favorites coming off a SU home win. In terms of motivation -- Minnesota has to be looking at this game as a chance to redeem themselves against a Super-Bowl caliber opponent, especially in their final home game of the season. Miami is playing for home field and a first-round bye, but after two very emotional games, I expect them to have some difficulty this week.

The 1Q and 1H bets look just as strong. In each of their last three games, Minnesota has led at the end of the first quarter -- 7-0, 10-0, and 14-10 respectively. Minnesota has also been ahead or tied at halftime in 4 of their last 5 games. This team plays much better at home than on the road. These two teams also have some strong emotional attachments to each other -- which indicates a tough, close game can be expected. WR Carter returns to Minnesota to face his old team. Look for WR Moss to beg for the ball and come up with a couple of big plays. The Vikings also have three players that played for Miami last year. To summarize -- we take the dog (56 percent covers this season), the home team in its final game, with a couple of angles pointing to Minnesota, plus we get a team playing with confidence, and getting three points. Excellent value. Nolan Dalla

HighRoller...... any response ? I cant make up my mind...

Hey Highroller

Miami

Can clinch AFC East division title with:

EITHER a win at Minnesota and New England loss or tie
OR a tie at Minnesota and New England loss

Can clinch a playoff berth with a win at Minnesota and:
EITHER an Indianapolis loss

OR Denver loss or tie and San Diego loss or tie

This game has no effect on home field advantage does it ?

Maybe Miami looking ahead to the Pats next week for sure.

Maybe they will sleep through this game so they can get back to their X-box. Then Miami wakes up with a loss and they dont care.

Home Field /1st week Bye

Home Field /1st week Bye

Bottom Line...

Today

1)Oakland
2)Tennesse
3)Miami

If Tennesse loses to JAX and Oakland loses to Denver.

Miami secures #1 seed and a win in NE next week secures 1st week bye and home field in playoffs.

THIS IS A MUST WIN GAME....PERIOD.
