I really thought after the elections the democratic party would see what the people wanted and they would move a little toward working together. I have seen nothing but bitterness from their party. I thought Kerry was trying to heal the party by conceding without all the bull shit that happen 4 years ago. I still get e-mail like a picture of bush on the cover of time magazine with the capitation WE ARE ****ED. Europe saying 59 million dumb people voted for bush. Any ideals what we can do to get both parties to work together or are we going to war with our own people?

Kerry on stolen 2000 election: "It isn't going to change. Get over it." http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/connelly/129019_joel02.ht...

In The Northwest: Vietnam vet Kerry braves fire on White House trail
By JOEL CONNELLY
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER COLUMNIST
TACOMA -- In harm's way long ago as a gunboat officer in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, Sen. John Kerry still has an instinct for danger as well as a seeming relish for being under fire.
He (Kerry) is the one candidate in the race who can bring the Democratic Party together," Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., said in introducing Kerry to a Sunday gathering.
Kerry was tiptoeing on Sunday, but did go into how liberals shoot
themselves in the foot.
He is impatient with Democratic oratory about the "stolen" election.
"Stop crying in your teacups," he told one audience. "It isn't going to change. Get over it."

Why is it that you say you see nothing but bitterness from the democratic party but yet fail to see the arrogance and tunnel vision of your party? Why is it that you cannot see how 55 million Americans and most of the rest of the world believe that the US wronfully invaded another country and as a result upwards of 100,000 people are dead for no apparent reason? Why is it that you cannot see how such people would feel we are f***ed?

You see David your partys idea on "working together" and compromise is not exactly my idea of working together and compromise. The reality David, if you ever care to visit that state of your mind, is that the Republican concept of compromise and working together is "either you see it my way or f*** you."

Your philosophy is we won, we control the white house, both houses of congress, the Supreme Court and all of the regulatory agencies of the federal government and either you come over to our side and see the light or you will be labeled obstructionist and bitter. I submit to those more intelligent right wingers out there that the republican concept of working together equates to either you join us or screw you.

The following is an example of Republican/Bushian reaching out to the democrats. Bush states:

"I nominate and appoint John Ashcroft to the US Supreme Court. Now let the healing begin."

Please waste your hypocrisy on some of those voters from southeast Ohio who you and your party conned into voting against their self interest. Hell, they will buy anything. In the meantime, I suggest you really look at this admininsitrations attempts at compromise. It will be quite laughable.

Eddie what you said was well put BUT your party has been saying that since they lost in 2000. 55 million people might have voted for Kerry but he LOST. Who gives a damn what the rest of the world thinks of us. Your right about one thing, we think all Democrats should get on our band wagon we could really change the world for better.

Bush did not win any mandate for anything. It is true that he gathered more more votes than any one elsein history but he also had more votes cast against him than anyone else. This country is truly divided. And to push thru his extremist policies is going to cause one Hell of a fight. This is something that we are going to have to live with. It was a very close vote again and no matter which side won they could expect trouble from the other side. The Repubs should quit their crying and excuses, they have had the house and senate and President for 4 years now. Anything they want to get passed they can pass.

Cman I would like to ad a few more winners/losers to your link that I think was prominent in election---

Winners/Losers
Bloggers/liberal media
Took about 4 hours for them to locate obvious fraud when the liberal media weeks of research couldn't (or didn't want to).
They constantly dispelled liberal media opinion with facts throughout campaign--new wave--bloggers holding both side accountable.

winner/loser
We the people/losers ACLU-liberal judges
Election clearly showed We the people, have had enough of these liberal orgs dictating law against the majority.
What a timely occurrance with aged and sick supreme court justices and other judicial openings coming up.

winners/losers
veterens/Moore-Soros-moveon.org--hollywood
Shoestring budget-trumps 30 million from Soros and who knows from hollywood
The vets with aid of bloggers without a doubt turned this election.
People can sort the facts if given the opportunity.

When Kerry was nominated and tried to run on military I said it would come back to haunt him--am waiting for full accountability if rest of his records are released--of course he has and will continue to be adamant about that ever happening-wonder why?
The amount of changes and deletions on miltary portion of his website since 1st initiated have been remarkable!!!

"This country is truly divided. And to push thru his extremist policies is going to cause one Hell of a fight"

--and do you not think the division would have been exactly the same had results been the opposite.

"extreme" policys is in the eye of beholder--the majoirity appearded to think that activist judges trumping--"we the people" on gay marriage was extreme--while others think changing a value that has withstood the days since the declaration of indepence is not extreme--nor is gays trumping boyscouts--no pledge of allegiance--child ponography--prayer in school ect

extreme--
: [n] the furthest or highest degree of something; "he carried it to extremes"
[n] the point located farthest from the middle of something

We report--you decide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah the Republicans should do just what the liberals all want....LMAO..

go away and hide in a hole....Bush has done more than to reach out the last 4 years and what has he gotten back from it? the worst bashing in the history of the Presidency.....he spent more money on liberal programs than any other President in history

if I were him, I would tell the liberals to get the heck away until they changed their attitudes....after that bitter campaign, and getting their asses kicked and their dividing platform with class warfare, playing the race card, insinuations about Bush being stupid and lying after they said the same things, misleading the country about taxes and obscuring how much of the burden the high income folks pay, etc. etc....if I were Bush I would wait until they came back crawling on their knees....

in the meantime I would
1. Rush to war again in Fallujah and blow that town to shreds. Stabilize the Iraqi government and the oil fields and get the heck out.
2 . Pass a permanent tax cut and reform the tax code.
3. Load the Supreme court with 3 more Scalia, Thomas and Rehnquist
4. Solve the social security problem by phasing it out.
5. Pass legislation to penalize trial lawyers who bother innocent people with their endless litigation by having the pay all damages for business lost during cases which they lose as well as any other fees the defendant may have.
6. Reform the juries so that they once again are composed of a jury of one's peers instead of the most emotional, unreasonable, illogical people.

That would be a good start.

Yes i did but what you said was that bush had more votes against him than anyone else, that was a very incorrect statement by about 3.5 million votes

Oh, I see treynolds I should have said that Bush had more votes cast against him than any other President in history. My mistake.

I was amazed by the comments of a couple of Democratic heavies in my neck of the woods. Mayor/Tyrant Daley and Senator Obama both had all kinds of words of wisdom for Bush. Mostly on how he should open up to the other side more and accept opinions in the future from the Democrats.

To the winner goes the spoils!

I have to add Daley was impressed by the nuts and bolts of the Bush victory. He had a number of comments on how effective the campaign was run. Obama actually had a few edgey things to say on how the Democrats are missing the boat on issues of morality and others oriented to family values. It was more his way of saying they need to get these strong points away from the Republican platform.

Eddie & Smurf , Paris and Montreal are very romantic in the fall. Maybe if you visited, communed with the local propagandists, you could better get in touch with your socialist, and antiamerican feelings. Maybe you'd even like one of these countries, and stay.
