By the way obviously LSU and FLA are great but how did ARK and TN lose to Wisc and PSU?

DVL, some of your stuff today is quite good>>>

DVL, some of your stuff today is quite good>>>

Parts of this thread have been some of the more insightful ones I have ever seen you post. The following comment is quite unique and I would like to know who you from the SEC you think would have been the champion? The only obvious one is the Au year when they were excluded. Other than that I have posted the BCS results with their rankings for you to consult.

"The only solution I see is to automatically have the winner of the SEC in the national championship game every year. Kind of makes you wonder about how well Florida would have done in ?93 and ?94 or whether Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, or Auburn would have beaten Florida State, Oklahoma, Miami, Ohio State, or USC, respectively.
The SEC wouldn?t have won all of those games, but with a 5-1 record over the past 15 years, I bet it would have been interesting. "

1999
#4 Ohio State 24, #6 Texas A&M 14
#1 Tennessee 23, #2 Florida State 16
#8 Florida 31, #15 Syracuse 10
#9 Wisconsin 38, #5 UCLA 31

2000
#1 Florida State 46, #2 Virginia Tech 29
#3 Nebraska 31, #5 Tennessee 21
#8 Michigan 35, #4 Alabama 34
#7 Wisconsin 17, Stanford 9

2001
#3 Miami 37, #7 Florida 20
#6 Oregon State 41, #11 Notre Dame 9
#1 Oklahoma 13, #2 Florida State 2
#4 Washington 34, Purdue 24

2002
#13 LSU 47, #8 Illinois 34
#4 Oregon 38, #3 Colorado 16
#5 Florida 56, #10 Maryland 23
#1 Miami 37, #2 Nebraska 14

2003
#3 Georgia 26, #14 Florida State 13
#2 Ohio State 31, #1 Miami 24 (2OT)
#4 USC 38, #5 Iowa 17
#7 Oklahoma 34, #6 Washington State 14

2004
#2 LSU 21, #1 Oklahoma 14
#5 Ohio State 35, #10 Kansas State 28
#9 Miami 16, #7 Florida State 14
#3 Southern California 28, #4 Michigan 14

2005
#3 Auburn 16, #8 Virginia Tech 13
#6 Utah 35, #21 Pittsburgh 7
#1 USC 55, #2 Oklahoma 19
#4 Texas 38, #13 Michigan 37

2006
#11 West Virginia 38, Georgia 35
#4 Ohio State 34, #6 Notre Dame 20
#3 Penn St. 26, #22 Florida St. 23 (3 OT)
#2 Texas 41, #1 USC 38

And in accordance with your logic, than 2 loss USC may have beaten FL this year. Bottom line is they did not deserve the shot. The only team from the SEC with a legitimate claim to play in the game in the above scenario is AU.

USC couldnt beat 2-4 teams in the SEC!!

Well let me know those 2-4 teams are? This isn't only about USC, you just don't seem to give any credit to any team outside of the SEC, no matter who they are.

Let me look at the matchups and play a hypothetical game with USC and the SEC.

Opponent for USC
Home Away Neutral
Ken USC USC USC
Van USC USC USC
SCar USC USC USC
AU USC TossUp Tossup
Arky USC USC USC
LSU Tossup LSU Tossup
FL USC FL FL
Geo USC USC USC
Miss USC USC USC
Miss St USC USC USC
Tenn USC USC USC
Bama USC USC USC

So from my analysis, I really only see one team that could beat SC at home and that is LSU. The rest would all lose at SC. As for games in SEC stadiums, I see LSU winning and toss ups with FL and AU. All the rest would lose.

That is about as unbiased an SC fan could be. We have proven in the last few years we can beat good SEC teams.

Of course there is always the potential for an SEC team to beat USC but for once it would be nice for you to acknowledge that maybe a Pac team play for the SEC title.

Come up with some logic and analysis. I tried to give you some credit earlier. Think about this one before you post about how bad the Pac is or USC sucks or something that is irrelevant.

Actually I just pulled those directly off of the BCS website and cut and pasted them. Sorry for going directly to the source for my supposed illiteracy.

Once again until USC plays a whole SEC schedule you cant say any of this Shet!! You know nothing about SEC football as people who live here do!! All you know is Puzzy conferences etc!! NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME!!!

OREGON ST!!! UCLA!! YEP 2-4 LOSSES IN SEC EASILY!! Just proves they can't show up every week and in the SEC you better every week, or atleast every other week or 2-4 weeks in a row or get pounded!! Not so when you play 8 puzzies or more!! You people will never understand those facts. So no use in me trying to tell you!! But you just got a good picture of it and you better hope there is never a playoff system!!

BY THE WAY BEND STRETCH IT PULL IT FROM WERE EVER ITS ALL MEANINGLESS JUST LIKE EVERYTHING IN THE MEDIA OR MEDIA INVOLVED!! HAVEN"T YOU LEARNED THAT YET??

FLORIDA NO CHANCE????? (COULD HAVE LOST 4GAMES IN THE SEC) (SHOULD HAVE LOST THREE)
CAN YOU SAY THAT ABOUT YOUR BUNCH OF PUZZIES IN YOUR CONFERENCES??? NOPE!!

FLORIDA
AZZ DRILLING,AZZ WHIPPING, AZZ WAXING, AZZ KICKING!! TOTAL HUMILIATION AND DOMINATION!!!

GROW UP!! SEE THE FACTS!! LIVE WITH IT!!

dvllsu,
Do you even read the posts before you reply? Seriously, I started off my posts that the SEc is the best conference.

I was asking you to tell me based on what I posted who would have beaten USC this year. I conceded that LSU would have, and that games with FL and AU would be toss ups pending where they were played.

And for the record I live in Georgia and have seen over 50 SEC games in person. I have to think I know something about them. Ever think that maybe a team like USC may have earned the respect of some people in the South.

Also, I never posted anything negative about FL, so where does your post come from?

Sorry
Dumb question!
How can I say who would have beaten USC??
Like I said until USC plays a SEC or even a tough schedule at all!! They dont have and never will have my respect!! Yes they are good. But there are 4-6 teams in the SEC that could go undefeated with there(USC) schedule!!
No competition means less injuries etc and so on!!

If you cant understand that I am sorry!!

Example: Usc plays Auburn, ark, florida, and LSU in four or 5 week span. How many do they win or loose?? I would say atleast 2. How about you???

This year had they played that stretch I would say max 2. By the way did anyone play a stretch at that level? The closest one was UF, and the game against UGA cannot really be considered that hard afterall.

I would agree about playing in the Pac 10 right now. But I think that every conference has their pitfalls and teams are more apt to lose in conference than OOC because of tendencies, etc. Whuich just might explain why everyone on SC's schedule was a W except for PAc teams.

I do also think that LSU and UF could have gone undefeated in the PAC. Would they have gone undefeated, of course we would never know.
