serious bad phone call tonight

My dad calls me tonight to tell me that his best friend and my surrogate Grandfather has had a brain aneurysm today and is not expected to make it. He and his wife were Grandparents in my wedding and they consider me a grand child. Please say a prayer for his wife,family and extended family.

I had a surrogate grandfather, too. Still to this day it is the death in my life that had the greatest effect on me.

wow, the prayers were answered. Ed woke up this morning and asked the nurse how did he get there. She went and got his wife and told her he is talking. He doesn't remember the air flight in helicopter, he said it must have been quiet. My dad actually talked to him this morning in ICU on his wife's cell phone and all he wanted to know was who played before the Geo/Fla game and TX/TT game tonight. The doctors are dumbfounded right now. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. He is not out of the woods yet, but this is certainly better news than I was expecting, thanks again Madjack family for the well wishes. I will keep you posted.
