I have a sportsbook that offered Marco Jeric over/ under 15.5 assists for tonights game.

The max limit was 500. This seems to good to be ture. What am i missing. Guy has never even come close to getting 16 assists in a game before.

What happens if the line is broken?

Best thing to do is report it to them and they will probably give you like a $20 free play for doing the right thing.

They will catch it once it comes payout time.
Trust me. Not worth playing.
If you do play it, go small and it might slip past them.
Any major play will be flagged.

Worked for me once

Worked for me once

I once saw a bad line on a soccer game where the wrong team was favored. I bet 500 to win 3000 on the team listed as the dog. The next day the line was corrected. I almost played the new line on the other team at the same amount to cover my bet. I left it alone and won the 3000 getting odds with the favorite. I got paid without a question. The book was betonsports.com
Can't argue with money in the account. How can they fault you for betting the line they post? If you can get a printout of the bet, you have even more proof. I say give it a shot.
Good Luck

you're best bet is to tell the book about the error. if they find the error (and they will) they will cancel the bet. if they think you were trying to take advantage of a bad line, they will boot your ass and black list you too.

GOLFSTUD, that's stealing, plain and simple. no different than keeping change for $100 when you gave the girl a $20 bill.

Bad karma, maybe but all is fair in Love and War right? I mean really, when I keep pounding on someone in a Poker game, that is a bad player, how is that any different? Jack I have stood behind you and watched you steal a pot (admirably) from someone. How is THAT any different? Hey, I know they wont stand by it probably, but IMO its worth a shot. Fukc them and their 20.00 free play that will probably have some BS rollover requirement. These books will do you every chance they get, trust me, so I say have at it. Now if it were a Local guy, I would tell him because thats a relationship you want to keep in tact. Jack if the dealer at a casino was horrible and was flashing you her hole card EVERY time, what would you do? Tell them? No way, you would press your bets! I have seen you post on here that you "took advantage" of something before hey figured out what you were doing in an online casino. Was that stealing?

all of your examples are different than taking advantage of a bad line. none of your examples are cheating.

i asked the book if they changed their software after i couldn't beat it anymore and he still swears to this day that i must have been on a lucky streak because he can't change the software. i'm friends with the guy for christ sake.

with the online casino, all i did was play steaks. minimum bet until i won 2 in a row, the 3rd bet was max and stayed max until i lost, then back to the minimum bet. you could lose 8 in a row but you could win 8 in a row too. lose $5, lose $5, lose $5, win $5, win $5, win $200, win $200, win $200, lose $200, lose $5, lose $5.........you get the point. it still might work in some. try it :D

real bad karma. most books will give you some small credit except for spiro. guys a tight ass. i told him a laker 2h had 6 minutes into it once and the line was still up and he said thanks. but i guess i have good karma.

also, you are setting yourself up for books acting bad against you. what if your bet loses, then the book can wait til its over and say no action, and then if it wins say it was a bad line. you are in a no win situation, and especially a line thats 10 points off on assists. theres no way you will get paid, and if for some reason he does have a career day and you lose, then books can just book it a loser. lose lose situation for you.

This statement right here, is a perfect example of why I consider my relationship with a book and a casino, WAR. If they open themselves up, why is it my "responsibility" to tell them? Arent we all searching for angles constantly? Jack, what about the Casino BJ example I gave? Isnt that stealing? What would you do? Im NOT a dishonest person Soul Train, I just think I view this differently than you guys and maybe you will change my mind.

I have to disagree

I have to disagree

Jack,
I respect your opinion, but must disagree.
The books responsibility is to post the line. The gamblers is to find the lines that are the most likely to win, correct or incorrect. If I bet the wrong way on a bad line then I can't complain about my lack of knowledge either. A respectable book will stand by bets made with the lines they post.
If you find an attractive line it is not cheating to take advantage.
