BIGGGGGGGGGG

I have lots to say.

I know it is blasphemy around here to question the Ravens, but I do. I wasn't impressed with Denver or New England this year. I feel SF is much better than both of them.

I got sucked into playing New England last week ONLY based on that line. I was looking for a great spot to fade them. They are old, they were battered, and they played like crap. Brady's receiving corps were a joke. I don't care what anyone says, Talib going out was really big. Before you all get your panties in a bunch, I'm not taking anything away from Baltimore. They have heart. They 100% deserve to be here. All I'm saying is don't let those 2 big wins against legends fool you. Manning stinks in the playoffs and the cold, and Brady has zero weapons. Baltimore is a good team who is peaking at the right time.

I know we aren't allowed to have ANY questions about the Ravens on here, but question the 49ers all day... their defense sucks, Kaep is going to be a "deer in headlights," (that one is my favorite) etc. The Niners have the best offense in the league right now by far. Their wins were more impressive than Baltimore's in my mind. Their Defense has holes, but will now have time to regroup.

I have a bunch more thoughts, but I wanted to get this out there. And I put a huge chunk in at 4 already. I don't care if it goes down. I am comfortable with the 4. I will playing alternate lines too. Although this play has nothing to do with the line, and all to do with the fact that I think the NFC had tougher teams and the 49ers are a step in class above Baltimore, the fact that the public is eating up the whole Ravens/Ray Lewis "destiny" crap makes this play that much better. I'm guessing public will be on Ravens at a 2-1 clip easy. ML will be 3-1. On this site, it will probably be about 75 posters to 5 on the Baltimore Madjacks.

People want to hate Kaepernick for whatever reason. You may remember DURING that first game he played when Smith was hurt, I posted that Smith is forever done in SF. I knew this kid was special. He is. Maybe he won't play great ( i think he will obviously), but he certainly won't be scared or caught up in the moment, or any of that other garbage.

I get Baltimore. I was on them huge vs Indy and vs Denver. This is not a good matchup for them. I'm going to enjoy this game.

Niners ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

More later...

Ravens playoff experience is huge for this game.

You can throw everything else out.

Niners don't have a chance in hell of winning the Superbowl.

My only question about the Superbowl is if the Ravens will wear their white pants or black ones.

I don't buy this angle at all. The Giants had no experience against the 2 time SB champion Pats when they whooped them.
Rodgers and the packers had none when they whooped the battle tested Steelers.
The Saints had none when they handled Manning and the SB champion Colts.
NE had none when they beat the recently crowned Rams.

Experience in big games is the most overrated angle in today's professional sports. These guys are pros. They have the HUGE spotlight on them every single week. They are written about, talked about, thought about ad nauseum. They are used to it. No one is going to be fazed. The better team will roll.
It was still a good year for Balty though.

Seriously. The Niners are just happy to be there, the Ravens want it more.

You should really consider the experience and 'the will to win' because that is the key.

Ravens will not be denied.

Ravens are 1-0 in the Superbowl

Niners are 5-0 in the Superbowl

Happy to be there? I doubt it. There will be a lot of past Niners who will be around the building and at the game. These past Niners will be encouraging the current Niners that they don't want to be the team that loses the first Superbowl. Niners 24-17 Niners go to 6-0 in SB

Actually it's me that's perfectly satisfied that the Ravens got this far.

I won't be betting the game, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy it all, win or lose.

I'll most likely be watching the game with fellow members in Vegas while taking a nice break from work and this winter.

Good luck, everybody. :toast:

I've never subscribed to the notion that one team wants to win more. Not at this level. Kind of like the idea of bulletin board material. Always thought that was blown out of proportion. I don't believe there's any room for these men to "want to win more."

Brady has zero weapons?? LOL
This from a team (Pats) that led the NFL in scoring,

Where are his weapons other than Gronk, who didn't play?

Welker, who dropped 2 huge passes?

Either of his crap running backs?

Brandon lloyd??

Hernandez is a solid TE.

To basically say that the Ravens didn't beat anybody, just isn't true. They beat the #1 seed and #2 seed at THEIR place! Granted the Patriots played like crap, but I give Baltimore credit for that. AND, you just can't underestimate the way Flacko is playing. Kaperneck is good, but I'll take Flacko and the Ravens PLUS THE POINTS, all day long!! Baltimore is a team of destiny, whether I believe that or you believe that, really isn't important...I think THE RAVENS believe that and that can be huge!

Unless it's the Ravens and the other team just blew the game, right?
