Should I be upset, or do you just get what you get sometimes?

I have a partial season ticket plan for Penguins games, the seats I have are $85 each and I only have two tickets.

An hour before the game starts they start selling any unsold ticket to kids with a college ID and $20. Doesn't matter how much the seat is, they pay $20 for it and they start getting in line about four hours before game time, usually with a case of beer or three.

If they get tickets they are usually drunk, loud, foul-mouthed and immature at best.

I understand $20 is better than $0 for a seat that otherwise wouldn't be sold, but do I have a right to be upset that:

1. I don't get the option to get tickets that cheap.

2. That I paid full price and sit next to these idiots.

I know it's a sporting event and you don't normally get the most behaved people at such an event (I have been tossed out before myself for throwing a beer at an official, but he deserved it) but I think the Penguins are taking this to another level by inviting trouble in my opinion.

I am open to being told I am wrong here, thoughts?

My guess is they are trying to get the college kids in to consume the booze, which seems to be backfiring because they are getting shitrocked outside while waiting for the tickets.

Personally I'd be really pissed off for getting screwed out of the chance to get the tickets and having to put up with the idiots.

umm, I think you have every right to be upset. Sounds to me like you need to tell them to :stfu: Can you not also get the Penguin security guards over there to take them out if they are obviously intoxicated? What if you have a child with you?? You sure don't want them exposed to that behavior and probable profanity, do you? How big a boy are you? :SIB

Big uproar here by many Bears season ticket holders as the NFL suddenly decides to totally shift the starting time of this weeks game. Season ticket holders are now beholding to everyone from college kids to some guy watching tv in Maine.

Sounds like you need to say **** the season tickets and go back to school !!

Or at least find a nice little co-ed that'll stand around and pick up a few seats for you before the game for a nominal fee.
Pay em a couple bucks and maybe put on a little show for em..:11jackson :11jackson
