I have a partial season ticket plan for Penguins games, the seats I have are $85 each and I only have two tickets.
An hour before the game starts they start selling any unsold ticket to kids with a college ID and $20. Doesn't matter how much the seat is, they pay $20 for it and they start getting in line about four hours before game time, usually with a case of beer or three.
If they get tickets they are usually drunk, loud, foul-mouthed and immature at best.
I understand $20 is better than $0 for a seat that otherwise wouldn't be sold, but do I have a right to be upset that:
1. I don't get the option to get tickets that cheap.
2. That I paid full price and sit next to these idiots.
I know it's a sporting event and you don't normally get the most behaved people at such an event (I have been tossed out before myself for throwing a beer at an official, but he deserved it) but I think the Penguins are taking this to another level by inviting trouble in my opinion.
I am open to being told I am wrong here, thoughts?
