Wanted to go to the IND/BAL game next week but now, if I go, the wife, 2 step children, son and his friend all want to go.

$800 - airfare for 4
$3000 - 6 seats in the club level (if i'm lucky)
$300 - inner harbor hotel for 1 night
$200 - minimum money spent AT the game
$200 - minimum spent feeding 6 people

I think I'll stay the fuk home and watch it at the sports bar amongst all the Colts fan.

tough call......I wrestled with trying to buy tix for giants/philly today and driving down, but too much of an ordeal to watch my team lose which is most likely.......jeez, jackson, you are a good guy if you're paying the freight for step kids and your son's friend, assuming they are 18+ dont they have a job and pay some of their own way? 5k is a large tab I suppose its all relative though, Im sure the drive is long but I'd hike there with wife and one-two more people and make a few day trip of it, either way it will be cool with the indy/baltimore factor and irsay, to say the biggest game is a bit much hard to quantifdy like that, but will be electric no doubt

Speaking of been there done that, the Colts played in Baltimore in 98, 01, and 05. it isnt like this is the first time back. I would have to think the 98 game would have been the one that mattered to attend.

And "Baltimore" has had 3 Super Bowls teams, and several NFL title teams and hosted games.

Pretty hard for a disinterested observer to buy into the hype. Sure it is a big game....but a bit overboard here...

As big of a fan as you are Jack you should go, you'll be talking about this one for ages and then we all get to meet you in Vegas to watch your team play
