hope things get better :toast:

as far as the credit card goes don't sweat the small stuff, your only responsible for the first $50 of unauthorized charges and most won't even make you pay that.

Hey, thanks. Things always work out for me. Trust me. Anything new on your court case?

If you have a problem with anyone, it should be the credit card company. I believe most, if not all, credit card companies state that your card must be signed in order for it to be valid. So writing 'SEE ID' doesn't work in their eyes, because it doesn't contain your signature.

Not saying I agree with what the credit card companies are doing, but the dude behind the counter was just doing his job because he has to see your signature.

I know GQ, it was just something that sparked me. Never had an issue before, and from what I knew asking for more than just a signature was safer.

Oh well. Me and this guy always have issues....guess he wins this time

Yeah, it sucks that it ends up being a hassle when all you're trying to do is protect your own interests. Years ago I had my Paypal account hacked, which allowed the hacker access to my bank account. That was an absolute nightmare. :sadwave:

Needless to say, I don't blame you one bit for trying to be safe.

On the course!
The trouble with CCs is, they are too easy to use. I can't log into my fucking Yahoo account without an 8 spot password, but you can just hand a CC to some mook and he'll swipe it for a $2000 transaction!

Why aren't we required to punch in a numeric code every time we use our card? Even over the phone?

The companies could easily do this, so why don't they?

People don't even want to SIGN them, imagine how pissed off they'd be having to use a password :142smilie
