It sounds like we're in similar boats with our moms. Mine is still being hardheaded about the O2 but is starting to accept that she's dependent on it. She's going through so many portable tanks that they're thinking about getting her a portable battery (and AC) powered concentrator. She's been diagnosed with MAC which I had only heard of in AIDS but she's relieved that it's not cancer. They aren't treating it and the prognosis isn't good but she's in great spirits.
