I've been to Vegas 30 to 35 times and it's weird, I always have been 'not up and not down.' Just 'bout broke even every time.

Come to think of it, I don't think i've ever heard of anyone coming back 'down' from Vegas. Most 'break even' and the more creative ones always come back 'up a little, paid for my trip at least.' :mj07:

It must just be me paying all those bills. I've lost 9 of 11 times there (although one of the two wonderous "black" trips was the one with you guys).

All I ever do is lose. Even when I win, I somehow end up misplacing or squandering my winnings somehow.

What really bugs me about Vegas is how selfish the casinos have become. Rooms, food, and drinks are ridiculously expensive and you have to play at a very high level to start getting any breaks. They used to be generous to all gamblers, now they are only generous to wealthy compulsive ones.

Won last night a $110 bet on the Red Sox and Wakefield. Dumped $50 of the winnings on the tables. I know what you mean Smurphy - out of the 12-13 times I've been to Vegas I've only won on my betting 3-4 times and those winnings are easily eaten up by all of the expenses such as meals, tips, taxis, bars, etc.
