i actually had one of those fkers in my yard about 2 years ago. the shell was about 2 feet diameter. my wife called her father, cause he likes eating different things. he came over, got my broom, held it to the turtle's mouth, the turtle bit it and hung on. he took it to his trunk, took it home, killed the ****er, cleaned it and made turtle soup. :shrug:

Turtle is my favorite of all meats. Hardest thing is cleaning one--but well worth it.
Taste somewhat like Alligator but better.
put in pressure cooker for a while to make tender then fry. Yummy---
