I am 31 and I started snoring recently - I asked my doctor and he said "generally the older you get the fatter you get. If you were to lose weight, I bet you would stop snoring." I don't know if there is any truth to this, but I have gained 29lbs. over the past 2 years....I am going to start running 4 mi. every other day. Plus I eat a lot of fast food junk and drink a lot of beer.

I am going to stick to vodka and quit going to White Castle at 2am. Maybe that health plan will work.....

my wife and I rarely sleep in the same bed, and it's for this very reason. You might need to go for a polysomnogram (sleep study) to see how your body is doing while u sleep. I've had one and didn't need a cpap or anything. I just snore and snore loud! I don't consider myself overweight either. now, the joker is probably snoring now because he is as fat as motherfocker.

that's great, Andy! Congrats. saw where u have vertigo too! no wonder u haven't been playing golf! That sucks in a bad way! If u haven't tried it, there are some Physical Therapists trained in some sort of vestibular therapy that has had some success. I know nothing about it other than it does exist. I've met one who was trained in it. If you're like me, you'll try about anything (me for my back, you for this I bet). Anyway, congrats on the weight!

I am going to BAC three times a week now and I run in their cardio theater. You should really try it. You don't even know you're on the treadmill.....also, I would like to play raquetball too if you're interested.

My goal is 185 in 12 weeks

Mine too. I want to reach 185lb by Independence Day. Standing in at 209 this morning and my gut looks like that of a pregnant woman:(

My training regimine:

4 miles on the elyptical monday thru saturday mornings
20 mile bike ride on levee Monday and Wednesday evenings

Basically, I will live off of fruit, greens, beans, egg-whites, and fish for the next 3 months.

I'm also gonna count calories, ala Mad Jack, on beer drinking days, as 5 pints of Smithwick's packs quite the caloric punch.

Good luck to you.....

the strips really do work...
