I know they are. Just a lot of beautiful places in Europe. There seems to be a lag in their problems with them being slightly "less worse" than ours.

I wouldn't mind living there because I've heard some great things about it from Europeans and Americans. Also, my wife sort of would like to move back and she supported me for a few months while I was sick and is still now when I'm in recovery.

I have my mountain house retro-fitted for total solar, hope to live off the grid soon. Going to put in a rooftop garden and greenhouse/cold frame next spring. We have a high mountain well.

I guess I will just stay here and live off what we can grown and what I catch fly fishing:00hour

I would love more information on this. Do you suggest any books or websites?

I plan to have an awesome greenhouse/sunroom to sit in! We will be able to use some of that to heat the house.

Backwoods Home magazine!

Thinking how it was the Western Roman empire that collapsed (The eastern, Byzantium, was stable for another 1000 years)--Asian banks, except for a few in China, didn't have big positions in US mortage market and aren't hurting much at all now....and many of thier economies and gov'ts lived in barely subsistence economies until just recently...

but me, I'll stay in good ol' USA.

I'm moving to the moon. I'll start the 1st (moon) internet gambling site and there won't be any stupid ass golfing posts OUTSIDE of the golf forum. Martians also think golf is a puss hobby and they like Crown, so we'll get along fine.

No bugs or Mexicans there either (except the one's you bring)

forgot...you are always right,,,fishing in CO is different than the rest of the world...:mj07:

I never said it didn't matter in Colorado. I just said I never heard of that.

I'm a level 1 fly fisherman, just started 6 months ago when I moved out here, but I love it! And I always catch fish:shrug:
