ain`t that the truth....i was gonna record the final 9 to dvd....but,after the first 4,i decided to just do the last 2......
honestly,bobby hit the nail on the head....they had 9 episodes to build the finale.....and even though last night was very solid,it feels like they`re gonna be forced to cram a ton of goodies into one final hour....
couldn`t they have given us a 2-hour finale?....lord,they had literally years to write the kicker...
i too hope frank vincent takes one in the temple...the guy is so fricking good at getting you to hate him....the shine box bit in goodfellas was a classic...
and yeah...dr melfi treats tony for 7 years and then folds under a little peer pressure?....i kinda liked that little touch...really flesh`s out her own psychological insecurities.....kinda the blind leading the blind......nice touch...
no more sopranos...no deadwood finale...wtf....

What would have been icing on the cake between Melfi and Tony would have been for her to say "Poor you" and then shut the door.
I thought Deadwood was going to have a two-hour movie finale...did they cancel that, too?
why is anyone suprised that 'new york is winning?' they have a much larger crew and even if they whack phil the larger army will win.

The soprano crew has been one step to slow. Some of there best killers: furio, ralphie, etc. are gone. Now he has to depend on the likes of benny, and patsy, the second stringers. Maybe mangini gave him a good gameplan?:mj07: Will he be prepared this time like he worried durring test dream?
we did see meadow drinking a glass of OJ in the kitchen during the last episode..not a good omen for her. On a side note, I heard they filmed three alternate endings and only chase knows which one is the correct one that will air.

i had heard that it was over...word of mouth...and i haven`t seen any promos on showtime....
i hope you`re right, though..seems strange that it would just disappear...i always figured it was fairly popular...

From what I understand, they still want to do the Deadwood movie finale, but they're having problems with the schedules of the actors involved.
after analyzing the past shows of the sopranos for about 5 minutes....i decided to make a prediction of what will happen in the series finale....
tony gets whacked by paulie walnuts. remember at one time paulie was negotiating with the ny family about switching over & i think a deal was reached where paulie takes out tony...& then maybe somebody takes out paulie.

A spinoff would be great tv. Unfortunately, the producer of the show is not likely to cooperate. I heard David Chase has been a bit burned out by the show. But who knows? Maybe he will do something with a spinoff about a fringe character that is not crime-related.

Paulie and that damn cat made the show tonight.
I guess they want us to wonder if there was a mass Soprano killing after Meadow got there or did they just have dinner? The guy that got up and went to the restroom, we can't be sure he was a shooter, nor the guy in the fishing cap.
They want us to think and, well, I'm not going to.
Goodbye Sopranos, it's was fun.

I mean come one, that was brutal. Just shows you how pissed the writers were with the show at the end. They totally threw in the towel for the ending.

I agree ..WTF? ...im sure you will get the spin of it was "Genius" made you think ..and different type of ending da ..da.da..etc..BRUTAL.. For people who have been watching the show for years that was a serious cop out by the writer.. that being said if the rumors of a movie are true it would keep people interested in seeing what happens.

I think it left it wide open for a movie or if they wanted to do more episodes in the future so be it. However, got to say I am really going to miss this show. This season was the bomb and it would be hard to top it.
