Hello to everyone enjoying F1!
I would like to remember to some of you that the qualification is tomorrow morning at 7h00 am eastern time!
Don't sleep late hum? The race is on sunday 8h00 am eastern time. It means i will have to get up again at 3h00 this morning(yes!
) to be sure picks will be post around 5h30 am tomorrow so you'll have an hour and half to make a move. DJV, take your coffee and be ready !!!!!!!
The most recent weather forecast for sunday race is showers with a high of 18 and low of 10 (celsius). Let's move on!
Barcelona circuit:
Length: 4,730 km
Nb of Laps: 65 (307,323 Km)
Best Lap:
M. Hakkinen - 1'24"275
(1998, McLaren Mercedes)
Record Pole:
M. Hakkinen - 1'20"262
(98, McLaren Mercedes)
2000 Pole:
M. Schumacher - 1'20"974
(Ferrari)
2000 Podium:
Hakkinen - Coulthard - Barrichello
This weekend, we'll see the return (legally speaking!
) of the traction control. Will be very useful for unexperiment drivers and during wet conditions so we might see the difference right away on sunday!
Mika Hakkinen is having a slow start so far this season (just 4 points) and it is Coulthard who is on fire. However, i won't
count him out of that race because Mika is loving this track. By the way, Hakkinen has won the last 3 Spanish GP...
What about Schum? He must be quite upset to have let Coulthard join him at the top of the championship points. Ferrari has made lots of tests and they should rebound here. I am seriously thinking about Schum at 6/5 to win that race but haven't made the move...
Eager to see how De La Rosa will respond now with Jaguar. So far so good with a seventh place during free practice this morning. what about Irvine (jaguar) with a second place? We shall see an interesting and exciting qualification and i am more than ready to be back on the winning track!
YTD 27-13
see ya later!
