Didn't post for awhile mostly cause I just got turned off when every one of the SS's 5 top picks for the Championship Week went against teams that I liked A LOT. You know like Okie covers vs. Ok. St. and it faded Mizzu, a team I REALLY liked. It went 3-2 and found the doggie outright winners.

OK, on to the Bowls..... . . I only played one Bowl game so far and it was the second strongest pick the SS made for the WHOLE SEASON, USC -5. I went heavy on this game, luved the pick. Sorry I didn't post it, but I just got out of the routine of posting and also cause it was the only play I ran on the SS.

To help make up for it, I decided to run the next 7 Bowl games, Monday to Friday, and post the STRONG SS picks for the forum. Only 2 of them are rated as "STRONG" plays:

Pitt +4: I don't play games that these MoFoes play in. Sheet or no Sheet, I just can't win a game with Pitt in it.

Minn -4 : I got on this one as soon as the "monster sheet' spit this one out.

I'll try to post any further strong picks here; really getting bored with feeding the data in the thing by hand.

Enjoy the games

Thanks Jimbo. I tailed a few madjackers yesterday and started bowl season on sour note!

Fresno & Carr looked like crap and Washington State and Tulane have no heart!! My only bright spot of day is my plan to fade all the shitty MAC teams this bowl season! Was hoping East Carolina and all that chalk would be liked by spreadsheet.!

Thanks and enjoy holidays!!

Happy Holidays to you too

Happy Holidays to you too

GJ, sorry to see you're off to a poor start for the Bowls. Sorry about me losing some interest in this stuff as well; I've been upgrading my two desktops and going from xp to Win. 7 (forget 8) is a bit of a hassle. Got other stuff going on around here as well that's also bogging me down. :(

Also, I don't believe I'll come up with a stronger rated Spreadsheet pick than the Trojans were for the rest of the Bowls.

After nailing that game really good, I'm up to a point that I think about stopping while I'm ahead. Knowing that I'm really gonna miss some opportunities with college footballers, I'm on Minny (vs. Cuse) in a three teamer that will cash if they cover plus I gotem on a regular line play pretty solid (3 units). That parlay had two kinda off the wall picks... . Steelers score over 21 1/2 vs. G.B, and "Detroit doesn't get in playoffs" (good odds on this one). BTW, I did have one other parlay with MInny but it got killed with "Seattle -6, first half". Thinking they'd cover by just playing their game for the first half and taking it easy, not full strength 2nd half. Bastages took it easy for the whole freakin game. I always need a little LUCK with NFLers.

Here's what I'm up to with the spreadsheet -> I only run games that I like a lot for each week and just run them on the spreadsheet. Looking for 1,2, or 3 good picks for the week. This week there's 2 strong picks, Pitt (don't know why I even ran this game through the SS but I liked Pitt) just to see what it picked. I refuse to play a game that they're in though ... and Minny .

On this weekend I hope to post what it likes for next week. Thanks for your continued interest in this thread, Giambi-Juice.

GOOD LUCK, GJ.

Thanks Jimbo. No apologies needed! I am a big boy even though I cry occasionally when I lose! :mj07:

You have a great Christmas and I also wish you luck with your plays! No need for you to hold my hand, but when you and the sheet do- I appreciate it.

I nailed the Beavers last night- Football team- not women folk!

So it is all good and plenty of bowl games to go. I too will play Minnesota and even Pitt. I am going to continue fading the Mac teams as they are now 0-2 ATS. Thursday will be playing against two of the better shitty Mac teams and that stud QB J.Lynch. Why is N.Illinois such a low chalk favorite?(because they probably will lose the game??)

Go Utah State and Pitt!!!

Merry Christmas to all & God Bless!!

Hope u changed your mind on Pitt and put small play on them?

MAC is now 0-4 ATS with 1 MAC team to play. I almost remember the last 1 being a 10 point favorite vs Arkansas State?? Might stay away from that one and be happy with my 4 wins! Haha

Go Minny!! Seems like Orange men can be very inconsistent? Hope today is one of those bad days!!:0074

Here ya go...

Here ya go...

Bowls -> Supah Sheet 1/1, Jimbo 0/1

Yeah, Pitt pulls off a doggie winah for the $heet and Gophers pull out a favorite losah for me.

Ran a bunch of selected games through the $heet and came out with these Sheety picks....

Notre Dame -14: Surprise, surprise. LOSAH

Cinn.+3: This one goes in a small parlay as a Money Liner for me. LOSAH

Louisville -4.5: $heet luvsem, Wild Bill luvsem, and I just don't trustem. Maybe it's cause Bridgewater had a bad day the time I watched them or could be that I'm always leery bout fading Miami? Over (right now, 58), may be the way to go for me or just skip this game. Also, I find the spread a bit fishy, I was thinking something closer to a touchdown would have been more in order. WINAH

Arizona -7.5: I'll be on this one, either shave it a little and through it in a parlay or just play Zona with this spread or, better yet -7. as a single line play. They're very highly rated by the $heet. WINAH

VT +7 vs. UCLA: Ah... no thanks, $$. LOSAH

UNLV+6.5: What the hell are these two teams doing in a Bowl game? Money, money, money, greed, greed, greed is really killing the high anticipation and excitement of BIG TIME sporting events we all couldn't wait for in the past. They just can't get enough. Anybody notice how many fans are in the stands for these kinda Bowls so far?
Ooops, almost forgot to mention... . . I'm on this one :)

Wisc. +1.5: I start to lose some confidence in the $$ when it makes a "Strong" pick on a game like this. I don't see any way either of these team's is a STRONG pick to beat their opponent.

Stanford -6.5: All the picks above are STRONG $$ picks, this one is a bit lesser; it's a "Solid" pick. I think this game is the most interesting of the Bowls and that's why I'm posting it. I'm really looking forward to see this match up. I woulda preferred it to pick the Spartans, but I'm trusting the Sheet on this one cause it usually does well with teams that have the kind of stats these two have.

Good to know that plenty of visitors and MJers like to read the Sheet Picks.

Enjoy the games.

Forgot one -> Texas +14: What's up with them Quackers? LOSAH

Update

Update

I may just edit the page with the picks with either "Winah" or "Losah".

While I'm here... . Sheet -> 1/3 UGH! Jimbo -> don't keep a record but I ain't liking my Profit column decreasing. I play misc. 2 teamer and 4 teamer parlays with lucky NFL or college prop. or O/U stabs and a few of them helped, BUT the dang Profit column is sinking a bit and I HATE that.

This thread is only concerned with seeing how the $$ does after a fine season and I expect it to pick up with so many Bowl games left. For me, I'll be lowering the no. of bets and playing smaller $ to try to keep this season profitable mostly thanks to the $$'s earlier efforts.

NICE going with your Mac fade, GJ. You got that part down perfectly. I actually don't track conferences and probably should pay more attention to that factor. I DO pay attention to how each team did vs. it's opponents regardless of whether the game was an in conference or not and that's similar. The $$ does exactly what I do in that regard only does a MUCH more detailed look at that part. It checks out EVERY game the team in question did with it's ADJUSTED stats vs. the same thing for EACH team they're playing "today".

The losses were sooo close for the SHEET; big exception to that with CInn. today though. I noticed something when watching the Minny game - thems can only make tackles from BEHIND the opponent running with the dang ball. They were absolutely terrible taking down Syracuse ball carriers with head-on or side tackles. Thems need to go back to Tackling School for sure. I know that their superior defensive stats make this statement look ridiculous, but I know what I saw yesterday.

Ok, on to more Bowling for pennies for me. LOL.

Good Luck the rest of the way.

Good luck Jimbo. Hell, if we won them all they might thinks we was cheating.

No cheats allowed in this trread

No cheats allowed in this trread

Chalk up two mo results for the $$, one winnah (Zona) and one losah (VT).

For me, definitely took the right route on these two; went kinda heavy of them "cats' too. :00hour

SHEET doesn't appear to be in "BOWLING" form, but there's still enough games left for it to pick it up.

BTW, I got UNLV as a Moola Liner (+210) in a two teamer and also giving the pts. in a straight, medium size play. Like this one.

edited : UNLV is GETTING POINTS, not giving them.

Now, lets just ...

DANG!

DANG!

Some difference how this Shitty (temporarily substituting "Shitty" for "Suppa") sheet did from the time I started posting it's picks, week 5, and now. Maybe it was WAY overdue to fall on it's face for Bowl week, which has always been it's strong suit. IMO, you gotta excuse it for a bunch of it's Bowl losahs that could easily have gone the other way but some of it's picks looked pretty absurd to me. Bottom line is that - when I check back to it's phenomenal record for previous Bowl weeks and this year's $$ edition (so far), I start to think about how UNpredictable many of these games really are. Unless it pulls off a "Texas A&M's type comeback", it looks like it's bowling it's way to the pohouse,

I gotta mention that it's strongEST rated picks have been holding up very well though. That means, for me, I'll be going with a fairly big play on it's Ohio St. ATS pick which I totally agree with at -3 and I'm on that one already. Didn't even check injuries for that game cause them linemakers got that part built into the spread already, if applicable. Trying to outsmart them ain't the way to go despite the flukes along the way like UCF yesterday (no action for me on that game, thankfully).

I'll still dabble with some small parlay/sucker plays that have actually helped me so far. Got one going as I write this...

Pending 3 Team Parlay
Pending 1/5/14 1:05pm NFL Football 106 Cincinnati Bengals -290* vs San Diego Chargers
Win 1/1/14 1:00pm College Football 252 South Carolina +107* vs Wisconsin
Pending 1/3/14 8:30pm College Football 264 Ohio State -2? -120* vs Clemson

By the way, that there South Carolina bet in this parlay is there as a sorta hedge vs. my single play on the sheet's "Wisc" plick that I had going. I thought Whiskey was a little shaky all along but trusted the sheet on that one.

If a few MJ'ERS who've been following the sheet want me to continue posting some of it's picks, I'll TRY to do so even if you think it may be good fade material. LOL My only serious play left is Ohio St.

Good luck the rest of the way.
