4650 swing on fg instead of TD, over 9k swing on Wiscy and 4450 swing on Georgia missing FG....18k to the bad, time for new swing, thankfully Houston and South Carolina came thru

I bet Stanford but that was not a smart coaching move ... more things can go wrong on a FG than a sneak from 1/2 yard ... plus the amount of money it costs the big boosters that bet on the game are not very happy

Wow, I went to bed cussing up a storm, turned off the tv immediately, thought it was a TD, guess he was down at the 1/2. Now I can almost feel sorry for the kicker.

more sickening would have been osu covering a spread they had no business covering.

the right side covered......and should have won outright but mark richt got involved in the last 45 seconds

No, they didn't. If you can't kick a 32 yard FG, you don't deserve to win the game. End of story. Stanford couldnt stop them when it mattered and Okie St should have covered in OT.

A bama fan saying you don't deserve to win if you can't make a field goal. That's the first time I've seen or heard this since LSU won at Tuscaloosa:mj07:

Hey Cie, we didn't make the plays to win the game in T-town. Any honest, knowledgeable Bama alum/fan will admit to that. Now let's see if you are an honest, knowledgeable LSU alum/fan...YOU WERE HOPING TO PLAY OKIE ST IN THE NC GAME BECAUSE YOU KNOW WE ARE THE ONLY TEAM IN THE COUNTRY THAT HAS A CHANCE TO BEAT YOU. Am i right?

Not going as of now, but still have a shot.

Awesome! I live in Va Beach now, but I have alot of friends that are still down on the coast and a couple in New Orleans. Three of them are going (they got tickets through a friend that works for the Saints). I would LOVE to go, but I can't justify a $3000.00+ long weekend to myself or my girlfriend. Ha, ha, ha. Good luck with your shot at going!

Just because of the way the game was played in Tuscaloosa, I think everyone assumes that it will be another low scoring affair. Personally, I think both teams will come out firing on offense with a trick play or two. I also expect to see a special teams/defensive td...or two. I/m thinking a 24-21, 24-20 type of game.

Cie, what are your thoughts?
