Is their coach on the take? I think he's mad because the game is over and he wants to call in one more running play.

There is a simple explanation that will get chuckles from most here but a few will get it...to say the head coach is terrible if u watched them all year is just plain silly. Quite frankly Stanford was never going to win that game by more than a field goal. Let's just say his "hands were tied " by a greater objective...again not interested in debating this as I know most here don't believe in fixes...however, like it or not, u just witnessed one :SIB
Correct. I saw them multiple times this year and they were never so predictable and focused on nonproductive running plays.
Lol. Good stuff.
Horrible coaching tonight. Kicking that FG was the wrong move

Respectfully disagree with the FG being wrong move and the thought stanford is a disgrace.
The FG was made with over 4 minutes left to make it 24-20, should Mich St get a FG, it's 27-20 and your one score down. If you don't get any pts, mich st. can seal it with a FG, to go up two scores.
They initially tried a fake FG and got penalized, making it 4th and 10.
In hindsight, if Stan. were stopped with no FG and Mich st. made a FG you would be bitching about how they were down two scores, 27-17.
No?
They simply did not play a very good game, dropsies and penalties make the diff in close games.
