690 civilians killed by police so far this year. Will end up about 1000 for the year.
Police fatalities in the line of duty so far this year 72. Just 19 by gunfire. Will probably be about 30 by the end of the year. So, how likely is it that a cop is killed buy gunfire?

There are many jobs more dangerous than Police Officer.

It appears that your numbers are skewed, so you must have an agenda. I know this because it only makes sense that policing is a dangerous occupation. Don't you watch television? I've also been told this since I started school, so it has to be true. You must hate cops. And you must hate America. So get the fuck out!
