Wont get a line until the injuries are settled. Its not like Manning is mr clutch.

Manning will manage, our D will make up for last meeting...I'm telling you, I never feel confident, but this team feels different. I just needed to be sure they would be healthy and they are....

Lots of key injuries for pitt BUT

they do face Captain One & Done

With AB out it will be tough but I said that about DW and Bell. Its not like Pitt cant beat them. We already did.

or just play without helmets and carry the dead off the field only to be replaced with others with no regard for human life.

Dimes had it up right away, opened Den -3/3.5 up to -6 already

one would assume that that movement would based on the fact that Mr.Jones would be starting for the Steelers..

Surely a Denver team with Peyton Manning nearly playing while in a wheelchair would not be a 6 point fav in that little bandbox in Denver with an overrated defense and no running game at all.Game would surely be closer to pickem' with the mighty Steelers coming to town..

Hell they already beat Denver..

"nothing to see here folks move along."

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Not long ago those hits were part of the fabric of football. On the other hand, one of the Cinci defenders gave a textbook shoulder to shoulder hit in the first quarter and got flagged.

That was a memorable playoff encounter, tarnished badly at the end. That catch alone will be talked about 20 years from now.

How can you set a line without waiting for a report on Ben?

thanks to folks who understand we can't have former players walking around like zombies their whole life after football steps have been taken..

now if like all these heat seeking missiles who stand 6 foot or better weighing 200 pounds or more taking advantage of their position of armored destroyer then be prepared to watch shyt players play after a few seasons.

But then of course the game will slowly perish because only the numbskulls will be willing to play the game.

The majority of fans like to watch true athletes play ..Well results show that talent level will not survive at the skills position when we allow heat heating missiles as described above.

So do we want blood and brain damage combined with paralyzed humans for the sake of what was.

Or should we do what is necessary in this day in age to preserve the beauty of the game while trying to make sure a quality product is produced and it's players aren't left to live with irreputable harm because a gladiator like mentality should be preserved despite the advances in uniform and helmet which make it inhuman in its approach to do so.

We can't have it both ways...

I wonder how Ben feels today since it took about 30 minutes for the meds to kick in before he could come back in?

Players are getting bigger, and faster. One of the reasons I laugh when people say, "The '67 Packers could beat the (any team here)."

You could take the worst NFL team this season, and they would crush the '67 Packers, simply based on their ability to push them around, and outrun them.

A big hit 50, 40, even 20 years ago, didn't have the impact that is does today.

We are not too far off from watching a man die right in front of us on a Sunday afternoon.

Another inch or so one way or other and we might have seen that last night.

Joe would have tucked his tail between his legs and watched from the bench. Kudos to superman for coming back. Toughest QB in the league with zero help from the refs weekly....

So true. I cant imagine getting rundown by a 250 lb linebacker. Players today are freakish big and quick.

Joe MUCH tougher than Ben. Ben = very injury prone. How many games has Ben missed vs Joe. Dumbest thing you ever posted. You weren't serious, I get it.
