i called that guy with QT earlier because he was short stack and i figured he was trying to take down the blinds and if i lost i still would have had 2000.

yup, bad timing on the end but i was getting desperate. oh well, back to step 2.

I made it all they way to Step 5 last week. Took a terrible beat for that much money.

Get pocket 99 and raise the blind four times.
Guy raises me and I call. Flop comes 988.
Sweet, I got the high boat on the flop so I check and sure enough he goes all in.
I call and he turns over pocket AA so I got him killed.
Turn comes a 3
And you guessed it, river is AN ACE!

I get knocked out in sixth and winning the hand puts me in first on the way to $4500 on a $11 entry :cursin:
