Nole's had it for over a year, I think. I never had it
I started acquiring shares around 1993. Traded it a bazillion times since. It ran up to 82 at the end of 1999. Made my Dad a millionaire. I sold a bunch at 70 that year. He retired Jan 1st. 2000. He liquidated 9K shares earlier this week just to lock in some huge gains!
Of course it dropped over the years. It got quite depressing when it got below 20. But, that was a buying opportunity. That's when my Dad loaded up again. I haven't been able to acquire more shares unfortunately.
This Nokia settlement is gonna be huge! If it gets delayed or somehow go against IDC, IDC will take a hit. I've been down this road a few times over the years unfortunately with this company. Everything looks great and then wham! Delays and rulings against us.
You should really take a look at this company for a long term play. They are loaded with cash and recently declared they were going to pay a dividend. Cell phones are always going to be a hot item. IPad's too! They are patent loaded.

This Nokia settlement is the thing. Could be tomorrow, could be a month, could be....who knows? I'm going to get caught up on things at IHub.
Lots of great info at investorshub.com Jack. Put IDCC in the box and click message boards. Then click the top option. I never post there but get caught up on things there. Jim Lurgio is the main man there. He monitors the forum.

I wish I could tell you where it's going to be but so many times IDC has been in this spot and something horrible happens and then.....down she goes. I don't think so this time though.

IDCC is getting hit in the nuts big-time after hours. Their earnings report was beautiful but for some reason it's getting killed in AH.
I was stopped out today at 54.50. All my shares so I'm sittin' pretty good. My Dad is also totally out(he cashed out last week) but I just got off the phone with him and he bought 1000 @48.79 in AH so he's back in and will buy more if it dips to 45.
I have no plan yet but plan on buying back in, probably next week as I have to sit and wait 3 days to settle.
Just keep your eye on it. I know I will.

trailing stop took me out of TIBX today, small profit, won't buy much gasoline however at $3.32 + a gallon:scared
