we started w/ 20 and are down to 6 in my league with 3 losing this weekend.

Looking at Dall to come back at home v Oaktown next week or Atl vs TB; although i was hoping to hang on to them for their matchup w/ Buffalo should i get that far.

So its Dall vs Atl for me this weekend

thoughts?

Thats why i moved all my shit around to play steelers in 14 , because that would be the safest play. Originally I was going to play them this week but switched to dallas. Also, remember that some of the elite teams may be resting their players in 16 and 17
Wow , I was a little lucky this week. Had pit and changed them to save them for week 14. Played dallas who was awful but served their purpose in my world. Down to 26 players started with 191!
Need to revisit this but leaning towards :
Wk. 12 CINN
Wk. 13 INDY OR BRONCOS
Wk. 14 STEELERS

I took Dallas last week so I am looking at Green Bay and perhaps San Diego this weekend.

Atlanta is another choice, although I want to see Michael Turner playing.

Everyone in my pool made it through Week 12 so 19 left. Week 13 looks to be tough, at least for me. Only teams I'm considering are:

Chicago vs. STL
Carolina vs. TB
Denver at KC

probably lean to Chicago but don't like it at all. Would like to take Carolina but just never know what Jake could screw up.

30 left in the pool I'm in. (Jr's) Everyone made it through this week. I can't imagine it ends with just one guy standing, thinking there will be multiple winners, but you never know.

Leaning to the Bengals this week hoping they don't look past the Lions like they did with the Raiders. Pitt, if Ben plays, should be good also, but might want to save them for the following week against the Browns.

Probably stupid of me to even post since I am sure there are a few of the 30 left who are members here. Who knows, we all don't have the same teams left, so it might not even matter.

I'm still alive in one pool, 20 total left in it.

I see four real good picks each of the next two weeks. I'd be comfortable with any of them.

Week 13 it's Cincy over Detroit, Pittsburgh over Oakland, San Diego over Cleveland, and Chicago over St. Louis.

Week 14 it's New England over Carolina, Baltimore over Detroit, Pittsburgh over Cleveland, and Tennessee over St. Louis.

I don't see too many people going out of my pool over the next two weeks. Half of my pool can still pick Cincy, and should for Week 13.

This is who I've used thus far:

NO WAS BAL SF NYG JAC IND SD

I've mapped out the year w/spread estimates:

Wk. 9 NE -10.5 (Mia)
Wk. 10 Min -14.5 (Det)
Wk. 11 Dal -11 (Was)
Wk. 12 Atl -13 (TB)
Wk. 13 Cin -11 (Det)
Wk. 14 Pit -9.5 (@Cle)
Wk. 15 Den -14 (Oak)
Wk. 16 AZ -12.5 (St.L)
Wk. 17 Chi -9 (@ Det)

Dodged another bullet w/ATL -Ryan going down in first series although Redman played well. Sticking w/Cinci for wk. 13. I may use TN in week 14 and save Pit for Miami in week 17. I think Pit will need that game and Bears are not looking like they were in week 8 when I mapped out the above spreads. Cinci will probably have a hard time focusing this week, but I still can't see an outright win for Det- they looked horrible against a banged up GB.

Oh I am here, and have no fear. No shit, 30 make it through unscathed again. Needed either ATL or Philly to go down to lose a few. Oh well, majority probably on Cincinnati this upcoming week I would think including myself as of right now. Started with 195......and then there were??

Cincy for me this week, a lot of folks were on them this past weekend when they played Cleveland so I am hoping to see more people getting eliminated this weekend.

Next week it will probably be Tenny.

Only 5 more weeks to go folks. None of my Pools will continue in the playoff or have any sort of tie-breaker so I am hoping for a lil something something for the New Year, if not earlier

really the main decision for me is do i want to save Pitt for next week against Cle or week 17; for some reason this whole season i have not felt comfortable with cincy. I really would hate to put it all on the line w/ Vince Young next week as well.

any opinons on cincy vs pitt for this week and the thought of taking Tenny next week?

thanks and gl to u all

If you still have the Chargers available, this maybe the best week to use them, besides Cincy.

Shaun *Big Baby* Rogers who is arguably the best defensive player for the Browns is done for the season. That and the Chargers will play at the 4 p.m. time slot in Cleveland vs. the customary 1 p.m. EST, not that it matters a whole lot against these Brownies.

The only other week that I could feel comfy taking the Chargers is Week 17 when they host the Redskins and who knows what will happen then.

Thx bro, but I have used the chargers, if this post is replying to me. Indy or denver could be plays this week, though pitt looks like the best bet. That would leave me w-out pitt in week 14 , and Tennesee as my play. Do you think i should go that route, or try to sneak denver by this week, and pitt in week 14?

If i had cinncinatti left I would play them this week at home and pitt the following against cleveland. But go with your own instincts this is unchartered territory for me being alive this late in survivor!

I just noticed that only 5 people have pitt available out of the 25 still alive. Think I will play Pitt and hope KC, knocks off denver, lots of people have denver open and I think they will all be playing them. Hope this is a good strategy, but it seems a bad idea to go with the pack from here on out!

Thank God I went with Cincy this week to "save" Pitt for week 14 but after watching that performance i'm very confused at the makeup of that team. And Cleveland played SD fairly tough.

So that brings us to week 14.

I think the obvious picks are Pitt or Tenn. I'm leaning Tenn as they are playing very well and St Louis is beign led by Kyle Boller.

We are down to 5 (including myself) in my pool w/ 1 biting the dust to Pitt this weekend...:00hour

Made it through with Chicago - still 18 left in my pool though with only one going out with PITT.

Lean to Tennessee this week, with Houston a remote possibility. Not sure what could talk me out of the Titans though.

Dodged a bullett with Pitt also last week. Was thinking Pitt all week, but decided to go with Cinn and save Pitt for this week, but now not so sure. If you can't beat Oakland at home, now they go on the road on a short week, to a divsion rival? Leaning Tenn or Patriots. Can't see Pats losing 3 in a row and playing Carolina at home.
