BTW, I wrote in my 'Sat' post that the no. 1 scratched and thats why almost the whole total bet was returned. WRONG... actually the picks nailed the EXACTA and that's why the play was slightly ahead for that race.
Not much SO FAR for today but the card is much better than yesterday's garbage. Think there's more plays later in the card, but here's where I"m up to...
No plays for the first three races :nono:
4th race
Three different plays for this race. (1) Looking for longshots? Well, there's two of them that I think have a real shot in this race - nos. 4 and 7. I'll be on the one that looks better in the prerace fosho. WITHOUT SEEING THEM FIRST - I'd go with the no. 7. PLENTY of speed in this race and when there's so many speedballs - chance of one lasting all the way is good ESP. if the faders block the closers. It could also mean that thems gonna get softened up and that could set it up for a closer that is lucky enough to clear the faders. I've seen Kintobanker(the 7) enough times to think he's better than his pp lines indicate. He's an excellent closer in this class when he's fit. The no. 4 looks to be a WAKE UP special though. See his last race. The odds on the 4 and the 7 should also help decide which one to go with. (2) looking for a mini jackpot? How bout a 1-3-7 and a 1-3-4 boxed tri? I think the no. 1 will go off at higher odds than her M.L. and the tri could be very decent with the 4 or the 7 in the first or second spot. Third way to play this one is just go for the Win spot on the 4 AND the 7and no worries who finishes 2nd. BOTH should be very nice odds and the cost is less than the other two options. Gotta keep ya fingers crossed if ya take this option though cause one of them's gotta win.
5th race
Got two pegged, no. 1, Bank'n On Gold @ 4-1 M.L. and no.4, From Grey to Gold @ 8-1 M.L. Oh, don't forget the magic nos. .... . 1-2-4 tri box.
6th race :
No play cause no. 8 is favored, gonna be even more favored after the betting is over, and looks like a cinch.
BTW, how bout them basketballers? Ya can sit there, watching them run back and forth for an hour and a half or ya can just turn the game on for the last 5 SECONDS and get all the excitement in one quick dose. Ya know, like betting on a coin flip. LOL
