Tech has one of the best pt gds in the country and 2 other solid gds in Appleby and Hamilton. Could be one of the best 3 gds combo gds in the country...think they can attack the 2-3..Inside they have 6'10 Kayser who can play d and has 35 blocked shots already..McCree the tranfer has been tough inside...front court has some problems though with little depth.. Cuse has two good fds in X-mas and McCullough...Joseph is good at the pt and Clooney can hit from any dorm near the dome....think Tech gives them a game...
Hall -11.5 over Peter ***
Last yr peter upset hall 83-80 and Washington and Dominique had 60 of those pts..and they are both back today...for Peter...but its the same story with Peter..they can't shoot or rebound..they can't shoot 3's or FT's...but they play great defense...holding teams to 57 pts a game...but Hall has some some good gds in Sina and Gibbs..but now one of the top freshman in the country is starting to rise.. Whitehead..he will be tough to defend...kid is amazing....and inside the Hall has Mobley and Delgado....to much for Peters front line because they don't have any one to stop inside the paint...Peter will be pesky and fight hard but can't see them staying with the hall for 40 minutes..esp. with a Whitehead.
Rutgers pk over Manhattan ***
Hate taking the Nites here because they are the worst coached team in the country.. Eddi has no idea what he is doing...his offense is about 3 or 4 passes and Etou takes a fade away jumper from 20 feet out..and he can't shoot from 10 ft...on one play last week he watched from mid court as the other team had a fast break...he didn't move and watched...and when the layup was made he was waving his arms open at mid court for them to throw him the ball....big problems in the locker room,etc..Mack is a pretty good 5'10 pt gd who has some NBA talent but he is so off...Jack at 6'9 inside the paint will force it up...Daniels is back in the line up and he's not bad...Manhattan is hurting w/o a true pt gd. Andujar is solid and Pankey is 6'10 playing better but his rap is he is soft..Richards can shoot the 3..he is tough...maybe Jordan will keep a player on him not to give him any room to shoot.. Mas the MC coach is good and that scares me...but this is a team Rutgers should beat .... imagine losing to a manhattan who lost every one last yr and are about a 5th of 6th MACC team...and you guys are in the Big 10...
yesterday went 5-4 plus 2 *'s...not very good...Army killed me..they beat USC and also covered vs Navy..GL today
