want to get the plays up before jack takes off, but i've looked the games over and only see one play i like, although i'd probably take the sooners if i could still get ten.

bradley +12-: wish i could get chris or kcwolf's take on this one. i say this number should be eight or nine at most. sw mo won by 12 in peoria this year, but bradley was in a funk without valley preseason poy phillip gilbert. braves further thinned at the guard spot in that game with gillingham out and pg robinson limited to seven minutes because of injury. much different bradley team now that gilbert is back and has some pt under his belt. and for whatever reasons, sw mo has been a better team on the road this year, and much less focused at home. today's number would have covered 11 of the last 14 matchups for the braves. i'm thinking that they're still three or four points undervalued right now because of their recent injury-induced slump.

Loop, any thoughts on Manhattan? I haven't seen Box post yet, so thought I'd ask you. 3rd game in 6 days for the Cocks, and the Jaspers are a far superior team, probably the best in the conf. I'm thinking the Jaspers can easily reach the 5 pt margin in the 2nd 1/2.

Thanks, Good luck today

sorry ddubs, i'm not much help when it comes to maac games. i see a big line move to man -5. by the numbers i'd make the line man -1 or pk, so it looks like st petes string of games has been accounted for. nothing there for me.

i see that. looks like the line has moved 1- points in the last thirty minutes or so. sorry i didn't get it up sooner, didn't expect that kind of move. i probably lay off now also, not understanding what moved the line like that. i'm pretty large on +12- though, guess we'll see how it plays out.

duh, yup. spent too much time capping their game yesterday to end up with a no-play. braves obviously at wich st, that's why i was looking for chris and kcwolf's opinion. i did actually cap the right game although it may not appear so. i'm sure that gives all coattailers a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Living in Wichita, I have a few notes to share on tonight's game:

Wichita St won 66-53 at Bradley January 14. The Braves are 10-12, 3-8 MVC. The Shockers are 14-7, 7-4 MVC.

Since Phillip Gilbert (G) has returned for Bradley (missed 10 games), the Braves are 2-0 SU & ATS. It is imprtant to mention they were against Evansville and ILL ST.

Bradley's Marcelo Robinson hasn't practiced for a month with a deep bone bruise in his left foot, will start today.

Bradley's James Gillingham has bursitis in his right elbow. He will start today. Gillingham and Gilbert were both out for the January 14 game.

Shockers forward Kampman made 5 of 6 in the Bradley game. Kampman is shooting 61.7 over the last 8 games.

Fridge Holman (G) will start for the Shockers today. He missed 3 games before coming off the bench last game against Illinois St.

Wichita State has won there last two on the road by 10 & 20 points.

Wichita State has been disappointing at home this season, in the remodeled Koch Arena. They have lost to Oral Roberts, and most recently, frustrating losses to Valley opponents Indiana State & Drake. Their last home loss was to Southern Illinios by 5 as a 1 point favorite. They do have a home win vs the powerhouse, for years, in the Valley, Creighton, winning by 15 points as a pick game.

There is a lot of pressure on the Shockers to win this game at home, especially being picked as preseason favorites to win the MVC.

I think the line is a little to high, but is dropping. Going to think about it for awhile.
