On the course!
Jack,

Your guy got back into Vegas last night:

So I got my lucky room again at the Wynn?good thing all the CES people are gone.

Had a bit to eat and then it's off to the casino with two buddies that are in town. Both don't really gamble?.

Buy in for 300k at the Craps table trying to look like a big shot because all the pit boss guys were shaking my hand saying long time no see (damn it there goes the plan)?

Started out playing quite small?same as the plan 500 pass, full odds, 2600/2700 across. 3 Seven outs with no pass and one or two numbers quickly had me fleeing to table number 2. By this time, the steam is rising a little, so I up my bet to 1k pass, 6k across. point 7 out, point 7 out, point 7 out. 3 in a roll around the table.

Just imagine the steam coming out of my ears, I tell my buddies (who now I think are jinxes) to go wait for me in the baccarat vip lounge. My turn to shoot, I am down around 85k already (plan totally out the window).

5k pass, 15k behind. point is 6. I put 3k on 8, 8k outside. 5k on come, 1k horn high ace deuce, about 1200 on hard 6.

The plan is definitely no where to be seen.

Boom! easy 5 1 = 6.

I roll another 6 on the come out so get paid on the come bet for 5k too. Same 15k odds behind. Boom 4 2 = 6.

roll a few yo's at 3700 payout a pop (1k horn high ace deuce, 100 yo).

New point is 4, only 10k behind. I roll 6, 8, 5, starting to sweat since all my come bets go up I only put 5k odds. Boom 1 3 = 4!

3 passes already, but I have 3 live come bets up there for 15k?.scared on the come out so bet 3k on 3-way 7. Guess what, of course I roll the 7. Save money.

Next point is 8, I roll a hard 8 after a bunch of numbers with 1400 on the hard 8. With 20k behind for odds.

I finally 7 out after a while not hitting the 9.

Funny intermission, guy to my left, went on a coughing fit in the middle of the roll but didn't affect anything, he almost choked but kept wanting to throw chips out there?haha.

Final tally, paid off the marker and won 75k.

Rating is
Time 0:58
Theo : 8903
Win : 87,000 (already having them look into that, boy they always think you won more)
Avg bet : 13,237.

Good start to the trip, got a bit of jet lag?.calling it. Golf in the morning.

Yea, I've been waiting for this one. Should be good.

Meanwhile I have been reading this one from last year. It's 148 pages and I'm only at page 35. These casino thieves really try to rip you off on your ratings. This guy stays on top of it and doesn't let them get away with it either. If he disagrees with the pit and the rating, he quits until they review the videos. It's saved him damn near 6 figures on this one trip alone. Dirty bastids.

Of course if we object with the rating they give us they'll just tell us to GTFO.

I've been getting more and more negative about Vegas gambling since about 2009. It's almost impossible to win, when back in the 90's a win was a regular thing. Not to mention the comps blow compared to back then.

On the course!
When was the original arrival, I thought Thursday.

Hope to see you Friday. :0074

No! Saturday night at 6......That would be no good. Wouldn't be able to spend much time with any MJers.

This way, I should be settled in by 11am on Friday, and I can find you guys somewhere. Maybe if anyone is golfing on Saturday and, and the threesomes aren't full..............

you remember how long we played and how much per hand and how bad we did out there playing BJ ? When I went to see how much I had in Reward points/rating, they had me for 12 fucking cents ... I ended up getting all the way to the Director of Player Development ... they gave me a free dinner for 3 at NICE restaurant in ARIA and then offered me 2 free nights on future visit (within 4 months gee thanks) but I have never been back ... DEFINITELY track your time and money played and check with pit boss before leaving ... this is a copy/paste of part of the email she sent me and I "bet" it is even tighter now as this was late 2010:

As mention in my email earlier it is very difficult to adjust ratings after the fact and as a Marketing Executive I can not influence ratings. I did however, speak with the Shift Manager on duty during the time frame you mention below and after researching she could not find any additional ratings. The time played and average bet is what determines future offers this is generated based on theoretical play and you are correct the loss can determine complimentary room nights at the end of the stay. The criteria for one night room comp is $100 average bet with 4 hours of playing time per day or a $1,000 loss equals one night room comp

Yea, those pit bosses don't do their job at all. When I'm playing seriously for now on I'm making sure they mark the time down and let me know when they leave so I can make sure the next asshole has my info correct. Nofuckingbody does their job anymore.

So we all walk up and let me and Bart eat our oysters and drink a cold one, get our 190 octane, then walk over to Cosmos for a kick ass burger. :0074

Then mosey on down to the Bellagio, maybe play a bit, then walk to Caesars and repeat. By the time we're done at Caesars, we go back home across the street and plan out the evening.

This sounds great but we may fill on oysters instead before walking with you guys. Is it the oyster place Kevin said right next to Joe's in Caesars? I am thinking yes. Don't they have happy hour oysters I recall? And, about 6-8 different kinds to choose from
