Stevie even tho he was the spokeman for the most corrupt administration in our lifetime, he actually did seem like a decent person. He was one of the rare Republicans who would go on Bill Maher show.He seemed to b a very likeable guy.
sorry to read about this...another quality media person lost..
what impressed me about tony snow was his positive outlook eventhough he knew he didn't have long to live...
didn't know about it until now, and this time, sponge, I wholeheartedly agree with you. That C word is a nasty, nasty sob!! Maybe one day we'll have a cure.
I've watched cancer eat my old man alive. And as in anything else in this country, money trumps everything. As long as a single chemotherapy visit to Dana Farber costs 40 thousand + every week, there will be no cures. That's the dirty Secret.
That's what the average citizen doesn't get.
My old man kind of Figure this out. his doctor, a famous Dr. at Dana Farber (Dr. OH), told him their goal with cancer is to control it, and make it a chronic disease, like diabetes, not a cause of death
.
this way they can continue charging exuberant amounts of money for chemotherapy on a prolonged basis. Butfat
