Jr11 runs one here. I have been in it the past couple of years. It is a good pool and you will have no problems getting paid if you win.

Thx Z, Wayne we had 195 in last year using a website, and 6 people split the money as they made it the whole way through. Almost all of my contest are $20 per entry, keeps it simple, and payouts are still worth a shot with that many entries.

Ive been doing this for 7 years or so, probably have about half the contestants are from people at MJ's. We have fun, and yes you will get paid IMMEDIATELY. I confirm everything, and probably too annoying at times keeping everyone in the loop.

These contests from MJ's were ruined by a few people trying to run their own so I didn't ask for permission to post it this year, even though he knows I am a good one. If you want in let me know or perhaps reach out to him for my email address.

You have to understand that I need to be careful though.

Thanks boss....

If you are interested send me something to old MSN address I set up for this a while ago.... jr112007.

No funny business here, we got it up to 195 last year, currently at about 65 in, but my crew and many from here are late to always register.

My only rule, no entry fee before we start, to which I confirm upon receipt, equals no entry, this avoids some of the shit right of the top.

I use a website to run this, no longer do I keep track of it myself, well worth it. The NFL Survivor consists of pick a team each week to win, once you take that team you can no longer pick them again. Lose you are out. Pretty simple. Deadline each week is Sunday 1 PM EST, if a game falls on Thursday you have up until the kickoff (roughly 8:30 to make a pick if you want to). At 1:00 or when the deadline passes, everyone's selection is unlocked and viewable, so you know who has what at all times. Multiple entries allowed, but it is $20 per.

I set the website up to send a reminder email to everyone during the week, so a valid email address helps one not to forget. No pick you are out. My advice and what I do, I go in Tuesday or Wednesday and make a pick on first go through, if somehow shit hits the fan during my week I know I have a pick in, something changes after more research so be it and one can change their pick up to deadline or 1:00 PM EST Sunday. Also, after you hit submit your confirmation is also sent to you, no confirmation you didn't hit submit.

The concept, whoever is remaining at the end of the season, last year we had 6 split the pot as they made it the whole way through, contest over, and I will not carry it into the playoffs and I always encourage splits but that decision MUST be "all in favor".

Again, jr112007...............to MSN. Thanks boss, and let me know if you want in too, as I am sure many of us would like nothing better than to make it further in the contest than you, and NO I will not change the rules for you to take the Ravens each week.

2 situational questions that if you guys have any feedback, I am all ears.

1. If you have more than 1 entry in the same Pool or if you are participating in more than 1 Survivor Pool: Do you try to have the same *best* pick across the board or do you diversify and hope not all your eggs are put in one basket?

2. Do you *hedge* your Survivor Pool pick i.e. putting some coins on Oakland + the points...I realize it may not be worthwhile doing it at this early stage but as you get to live another week and the winning payout increases, is this something that needs to be taken into consideration?

The hedging amount is obviously dependent on many factors.
