i see both sides here
nolan`s a little tired of the "all flash-no substance" snowball that seems to be rolling downhill in sports reporting....and with that i agree....lisa guerrero is an abomination....i have to admit i`m no great kolber fan either.....but i think maybe in her case,it`s a case of guilt by association......espn,of late, just seems to rub me the wrong way...
espn, imo,in general, has basically become a joke....from the commercials with the "i love football and twins" and all that juvenile b.s.,to "long island stuart scott" trying to come off as snoop dog(b-diddy,bron bron, melo man...a few schizzle`s thrown in....no,make that several dozen shizzle`s and pizzles)........the guy`s as street as regis philbin... it`s hard to watch.....all the anchors appear to be wise cracking yuppies....i guess this is meant to be edgy, but it comes off as silly and annoying...unless you`re 17 years old .....
love sports...love having one channel with all the goodies....but soften it up a bit....when you try to hard to be hip,it becomes a little uncomfortable to watch.......
i know this isn`t really on the radar screen as far as important issues of the day, but,it`s kinda cathartic and probably means the wife and children won`t get beaten tonight....
