i think the swine flu pandemic is actually caused by global warming...
but,if we`re going to stop all these co2 emissions,,how are we gonna transport tamiflu to our cities and towns?...

It looks like the scare tactics have everyone shitting their pants coast to coast. There should be just enough sick people by this weekend so that the administration's "preventitive measures" will look like they saved us all from certain death, when this whole thing starts to clear up next week!

Just my opinion--but I think more than likely this swine flu could be blessing.
60,000 people a year die from your normal flu in U.S. a year--so far fatalities on this strain almost nil which would make it far from killer strain most feared.
If it could spread to many with mild symtoms that have occured so far- would build up immunties (like vaccine) to population against future similiar strain that may be more potent.

Governor Doyle Turns Swine Flu Into Martial Law
If you are like me, the seemingly knee-jerk reaction by our Federal and state governments to the Mexican Swine Flu outbreak raised a red flag. Certainly, it was only a matter of time before this administration faced it's first hand-wringing health crisis, as every administration needs one to keep "the people" in check. But, the government seems to have almost yelled, "He's been shot!", well before the trigger was pulled. A few people south of the border had a fever, and we were being told death was on our doorstep!
Forgive me if I didn't run out to buy a mask because a handful of people got sick who live in one of the most over-populated cities in the world. Forgive me for not lumping myself in with people who drink the same water that they urinate and defecate in, and breathe some of the most polluted air on the planet. Please don't chastise me for not becoming a shut in over the last ten days, because some people who likely had little or no access to routine medical treatment, became ill from "a bug". Please.
Yes, I understand that this dreaded thing is making it's was across our world. Right now, some guy from Cleveland doesn't know that his bag is making it's way to Miami. Strange things happen when you take a plane. Yet, call it intuition, or call it blind luck, but I firmly believe that this "pandemic" will die out all on it's own, with little, or nothing more, than the usual steps taken by any of the world's health provider's. I seriously doubt that we need massive government intervention to see us through these times.
Yet, they spin. We hear about the first death in America caused by this flu!!!! But, then we find out it's a Mexican child visiting grandma. Then, we hear about the probable cases of swine flu. Yes, large numbers of probable cases. Probable cases that turn out to be, "eh, guess not". The truth, as it almost always does......lies somewhere in between. We shouldn't be blas? about the threat, as some people will get plenty sick, and certainly, some more will die. Yet, we don't need to let our government scare us, either. That's what they've been good at, lately, and not much more. On to Governor Doyle. That is what this was supposed to be about, after all!

? Designates the Department of Health Services as the lead agency to respond to the public health emergency; and
? Directs the Department of Health Services to take all necessary and appropriate measures to prevent and respond to incidences of Swine Influenza A in the state; and
? Directs the Department of Health Services to access and distribute the state and federal antiviral stockpiles in response to the public health emergency as the State Health Officer determines is advisable; and
? Directs the Department of Health Services, as part of the antiviral response, to take any measure it deems necessary and appropriate to make an antiviral available to persons within the State, regardless of insurance or other health coverage, as needed to respond to the public health emergency; and
? Suspends the provisions of any administrative rule, if the Department of Health Services determines that compliance with that rule would prevent, hinder, or delay necessary actions to respond to the emergency and increase the health threat; and
? Authorizes the Adjutant General to utilize Wisconsin National Guard Direct personnel and resources as necessary and appropriate to assist in the State?s response to the public health emergency; and
? Direct all state agencies of the State of Wisconsin to assist as appropriate in this ongoing response
Now, I suppose if you read that with the fear in your head that they hope they have pumped in over the last week, you might just not care about what you've read. But I don't care for the ambiguity AT ALL!
If you like the sound of, take any measure necessary and appropriate.....Suspends the provisions of any administrative rule......utilize National Guard personnel and resources as necessary and appropriate........Direct all state agencies to assist, then you go ahead and turn yourself in. All of those things are Martial Law, people. There is absolute nothing happening in this state, or country, that warrants these actions!
What is to say the DHS doesn't mandate that everyone go get a shot? What if you refuse? What is to stop the DHS from announcing they will be entering your house to vaccinate you and your family? You think this sounds crazy? Maybe you should think again. They are just "setting the table" with this, in my opinion, and if we allow this to happen, they will take it further on the next "crisis" we have.
Oh, and the National Guard's "resources", aren't canteens of water.
