they could easily lose, but they haven't looked particularly great all season. lots of injuries.

even if they eek this one out which is still in question, cal will beat them.

I agree Cal will win by 7..... although they killed me in the 2nd half - can you believe it - no pts at all in the 2nd half??

I had a dime parlay cal -3/Tx -27 1000/2600 - and Cal couldn't get a FG!

Sucks is a strong word, but the Trojans would be AT BEST third in the Big Ten and fourth in the SEC. I would love to see ASU pull out this stunner... the Sun Devils are a bad team.

I wonder if Scooter is going to say how USC dominated this one, just some bad breaks cost them, but when USC gets that INT they made it happen. :142smilie

This vs a pathetic ASU team.

Still USC is clearly the #1 team

Thank god for the gift that is the ignore option! :sadwave:

ASU is a bad team. OSU and Michigan should be clear-cut 1-2.

You know what really sucks?

You know what really sucks?

With the Big 10 always scheduling the last game for Ohio State and Michigan as the last, it pretty much eliminates the possibility of these 2 teams playing each other in the National Championship game...

No matter which team loses, they will drop in the polls - and since it is the last game, it is recent so they do not have a chance to climb back up.

It stinks - they are likely the top 2 teams in the country.

Possibly the National Championship will occur when these 2 teams meet at the end of the year...

Possibly...

USC SUCKS!

ALL THEY DO IS KEEP ON WINNING!

WINNERS OF 51 of their last 53 games!!!!!

Now USC gets a bye and time to get healthy and work the kinks out. There are a lot of kinks to work out.

People don't realize how young and inexperienced this team is. On top of that, they have had to battle ton of crucial injuries. Yet USC keeps on winning and getting everyones best shot.

***USC starting D has 1 senior, 3 juniors, 5 sophomores, and 1 freshman. Think about that. What top D is this young? ONLY 3 of these players were season starters last year! Watch out for this D in the 2h of the season!

***USC starting O is older yet inexperienced as well. Watch the USC O develop continuity in the 2h of season. MAJOR BATTLES WITH INJURIES in 1h with inexperienced backfield and QB.

If I am an Ohio St. fan, ROOT LIKE HELL USC gets beat. In Jan. this will be a scary team and a completely different team. So it will be very difficult for OSU to study USC on film. Kinda like the buzz saw OU ran into in the BCS NC game. USC O was completely different. Kinda like 2h of 2003 when USC dominated. PC knows how to develop players and get the team to win 2h of year. Get by the 1h with young players and dominate 2h. Nobody does it better than USC. Undefeated in Nov. last 5 years! :scared

USC doesn't suck, but they sure as hell aren't on the same level as OSU and Michigan.

Michigan doesn't scare me. OSU does. I doubt Michigan would give USC a game. Right now, yes. At the end of the year, NO WAY!

Pete Carroll vs Carr? :142smilie

Been there, done that!

ive got as much respect for usc as anybody out there. i think they're very solid.

but do you actually believe half the stuff you type? usc has looked like dog shit at home in two straight weeks as almost 20 point favorites.

whats so hard about being objective as opposed always putting a spin on it.

theres no 'hidden reason' as to why theve played like shit. theyre not 'developing' or 'holding back'. theyre simply not playing with a killer instinct or the typical usc swagger. the talent is there. the performance is not.

to even compare this team to the one that beat oklahoma is foolish.

USC D gave up 1 scoring drive = 1 TD. 7pts came off Booty INT, and other 7pts came off Booty fumble and ASU drove I think only 35 yards for TD. This is a defense who is learning ON THE JOB. I posted how young the D is.

This young USC team jumped on ASU 21-0. They need to learn how to finish. Give ASU props for not giving up. ASU unlike Washington played sloppy. USC played sloppy as well.

Against Washington, UW played great. Give them props. Yet UW only scored 20pts, and USC lost the turnover battle. UW i think had only 4 penalties for 25yards. Stanback was on his game making great plays. They came to play and gave USC everything they got.

Against UW, USC was at times without their top 3 WR's. Despite the WR issues, USC went 6-6 in the redzone and scored on FIVE of their first six possessions. USC didn't punt until there was two minutes left in the third quarter.

These are FACTS! How exactly has USC looked like $hit? Last 2 games nobody scored over 21pts. USC has gone 55+ straight games scoring 20 or more pts. USC D holds teams under 21pts USC likely will win almost EVERY game.

Pete Carroll gets an A+ for coaching this young and injured team. I personally thought USC would have 1 loss in their first 5 games. I felt it would be @AZ or @WSU.

whats so hard about being objective as opposed always putting a spin on it.

Tell me where I am wrong?

USC is undefeated. If they had same gameplans as last years team, USC would have for sure lost at least 1 game so far. Guaranteed. Right now USC is letting their D win the games. Don't worry, both units will be in sync! Soon enough. I think PC knows what he is doing and how to run the team. There is a reason USC is undefeated in November last 5 years. 1h year is to set up 2h of year. Chow did this, and now Kifffin (who learned from Chow). On top of that, USC has to bring Booty along slowly and battle injuries and inexperience. REAL UGLY! Otherwise Booty without question would have multiple INT games. Lets not forget, USC also has FRESHMAN RB's carrying the rock!

This is why teams do not win BCS NC's with inexperienced QB's and this much team inexperience. PC will give it his best and he is on path. W's is all he needs week in week out.

to even compare this team to the one that beat oklahoma is foolish.

The offense you saw in the OU BCS blowout was not the same offense you saw in the regular season. #1 USC opened everything up and #2 everyone was experienced. Same thing will apply with this years team. USC cannot open everything up now for multiple reasons.

Lastly, why does USC run so many offensive plays over and over these last 3-4 games? Think about it. Who does USC play back to back to back? Oregon, CAL and ND. Then rival UCLA after that. Do you think these teams will study USC inside and out? Any chance USC is setting up these teams?

How come USC O has been able to get the crucial drives and 1st downs when needed this season? How come USC runs outside so little when they almost always have great success and speed advantage? They only run pitches to outside on crucial drives and it almost always works.

PC is undefeated in November for a reason.
